Let me just start off this post by stating that I have put the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set back on the shelf for now so this is my last card with this adorable set...for now. I think this squirrel is my favorite out of the two. This is a quick and easy card to make. No need to worry about how to fill the background space - just use our gorgeous pattern paper. I'm really doing my bast to use my pattern paper stash rather than hoard it. … [Read more...] about Squirrel!
I can't stand it. Just look at how cute these two squirrels are playing together! I don't know which squirrel is cuter, the one climbing the branch or the one with the nut. Both are adorable. Today's card is based off one of the samples in the July-December Catalog. Our Catalogs have a ton of ideas and inspiration. I love sharing those Catalogs with friends and customers. Any time you're looking for ideas, just pull out your Catalog and copy … [Read more...] about Nuts About You
Oh my goodness, the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set has the cutest pair of squirrels in it. Today I'm using the squirrel on the tree branch. The stamp set does not have coordinating dies so I hand cut the squirrel for this card. The Beauty of The Earth pattern paper is pairs nicely with this stamp set. The Fall foliage is perfect for this little guy climbing on his branch. I can't wait to share the other little squirrel with you. He's … [Read more...] about Hey There!
Halloween is this weekend so here's one final Halloween card for the year. This card uses the Cute Halloween Suite. I just love the adorable images in the pattern paper. For today's card, all the images are cut out from the paper. I think the smiling skeleton is my favorite. The frame around the outside of the card is from the die set Picture This. The die set has two background dies, one with these rectangles and one with circles. … [Read more...] about Once Last Spook
Every Fall, I love to watch the Harry Potter movies. I love the story, the costumes, the set designs. It's an over-the-top vision of what kids dream a magical school would look like. This brings me to today's card, which is once again using Joyful Life. I bought this stamp set just so I could make a Harry Potter pig. What's better than one Harry Potter pig? A entire group of them representing the four houses of Hogwarts! The red and yellow … [Read more...] about Harry Potter!
I am back to the Joyful Life stamp set today. This adorable hedgehog has a giant bowl of cranberries. Maybe she's planning on making cranberry bread. That would be perfect for the Holidays. You might notice that the bowl and the apron are actually pattern paper. It is super easy to paper-piece images like this that have nice straight lines. All you need to do is stamp the image on the pattern paper, cut it out, and glue it on top of the … [Read more...] about A Little Something For Your Friday
Make life a joy! The Joyful Life stamp set is one of those hidden gems in the back of the Holiday Catalog. The images so cute but there is no matching die or punch to coordinate. I know a lot of people will pass this up just because it doesn't have matching dies. But don't let that stop you from getting this set. This set has the cutest critter stamps. I just love the bear and bunny taking the bike out for spin among the Fall leaves. This … [Read more...] about Friends Like You…
This past Monday, I shared my Halloween in a jar. You can see that post here. Today, it's Christmas! To make this jar, you will need the items on the supply list below and our fine-tip glue.
