I am so excited that Stampin Up's Spring "convention" is tonight. Since Covid last year, our events have all been virtual. Meeting virtual has its pluses and minuses. We don't have to travel or take time off work, and I can relax in my own living room while "attending". And, my assistant Frannie can attend too until she gets distracted by something else. On the down side, I don't get to see friends in person and I miss traveling. For the … [Read more...] about OnTour Is Today
Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing soon to be retiring products from the 2020-21 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog and a fabulous stamping technique. One of my favorite techniques is the "baby wipe" technique. This technique is so easy to do and it has a WOW effect in the final card. Here … [Read more...] about New at SU-Watercolor Wreaths
A couple weeks ago I shared the Last Chance List. And now we're almost two weeks closer to a new Catalog and two weeks further into the Retirement List. Our new Annual Catalog starts May 4th. Happy Friday! This past Wednesday, I shared a beautiful card using the Hydrangea Hill Suite of products. You can see that card here. I really liked the design of the card, but wanted to do a different version. Using one of the pattern papers as inspiration, I recreated the card in pinks. I also changed it from a vertical card to a horizontal card. In purple or pink, I think these hydrangeas are so pretty. Do you ever copy your own … [Read more...] about Pink Hydrangeas
The Hydrangea Hill Suite is pretty amazing. The combination of the pattern paper, stamp set, dies, and embellishments all work together so amazingly well. Today's card has lots of layers and lots of die cutting. To make the flower on the card, I stated with stamping the outline. Then stamped the leaves and flower shading. Then the small die cut flowers are glued to the center of the flower. You can see just a hint of the Mercury Glass … [Read more...] about Amazing Things
So I had a small scheduling snafu, and didn't get my latest Sampler posted til today. This is my Easter Sampler. And, Easter was yesterday. Oops. Best laid plans... Anyway, I'm pretty sure we're going to have another Easter next year so this will be perfect for your Easter decor next near. The Hoppy Easter sampler is so cute. I used our Velveteen paper so the bunny is fuzzy. And those ears on the hoppy - just so cute. I love the Spring … [Read more...] about Hoppy Easter Sampler
This coming Sunday will be Easter here in the US. Last year, we skipped Easter celebrations due to Covid. I miss family gatherings. Hopefully, with the vaccine now more plentiful, we'll be able to gather soon. I couldn't let Easter pass without making some adorable treats. These are the fabulous Love You Always Treat Boxes. The boxes are a nice size for some special Easter treats. Making treat boxes like this is very simple. All it takes … [Read more...] about Happy Easter!
I was reminded this last weekend that next Sunday is Easter. And tomorrow is April! Oh my goodness! How did that happen?!? The year is already racing by. The good news.. I had enough foresight to know I would need an Easter stamp. The bad news... I just used it for the first time yesterday. Ugh! Fortunately, the stamp set Springtime Joy is for more than just Easter. Sure the set has a cute bunny, an adorable chick, and this sweet little … [Read more...] about Springtime Joy
