Halloween is this weekend so here's one final Halloween card for the year. This card uses the Cute Halloween Suite. I just love the adorable images in the pattern paper. For today's card, all the images are cut out from the paper. I think the smiling skeleton is my favorite. The frame around the outside of the card is from the die set Picture This. The die set has two background dies, one with these rectangles and one with circles. … [Read more...] about Once Last Spook

Boo!
Somehow I managed to stock up on our mini jam jars so I really need to get creative with some different uses for them. The jars are 2" tall by 2.5" wide so whatever I was going to make needed to be tiny. A few months ago, I jumped on the tiered tray bandwagon. This is basically a tray that has multiple layers, usually two or sometimes three, and you decorate them with little seasonal items. Usually the decor is crafty-type handmade items. … [Read more...] about Boo!
Hey, Boo
I promise I won't get carried away with Halloween quite this early, but I had one more treat holder to share. On Monday, I shared the little 3x3" pouches. Today, I'm sharing those fabulous Tombstone Treat boxes in the July-December Catalog. These boxes are pretty good size (3.5 x 5 x 1.25"). Definitely bigger than I thought they would be. I just love the little ghost from the Cute Halloween stamp set and used him on this box as well. The … [Read more...] about Hey, Boo
Treat Yourself
If you've been in a retail store in the last couple of weeks, you probably noticed Fall and Halloween decor have hit the shelves. Did you know there are only 69 more days until Halloween? I know, it sounds like that is so far away. But, it really isn't. Just think about how quickly 2021 has flown by already. And since it's Monday and I thought we could all do with a treat today, today's project is a small 3x3" treat holder. It holds candy, … [Read more...] about Treat Yourself

Ronald MacDonald House Treats
At our last Downline Meeting, we made Halloween treats for our local Ronald MacDonald House. I love doing this project for the House guests. It's a little something that we can easily do to help brighten their day. We used the coffin boxes for our treat holders this month. The tops of the boxes were heat embossed with versa mark and a spiderweb pattern. Inside, we added monsters. The monsters are on a piece of window sheet and they pop … [Read more...] about Ronald MacDonald House Treats
Creepin It Real
A few weeks ago, one of Stampin Up's artists posted a similar card to this one I'm sharing today. Melody has such a fun, creative style - it's no wonder she's a professional artist. I took her idea with the sweet monster hiding behind a wall and made my own card. This little guy is actually quite short. I stretched him out to better fit my card. To do this, I covered the bottom half of the stamp with a post-it and inked only the top and … [Read more...] about Creepin It Real
Ghoulish Gate Fold
Before I share today's project, I just want to remind you that today is the last day of the Stampin Up pattern paper sale! Now for today's project... Today's card is a gate fold card design. This is what the card looks like closed. Then you open both sides at the middle. Notice that the label and frame are centered over the middle of the card above. But, when you open the card, you see that it's attached on just the one side. To make sure my … [Read more...] about Ghoulish Gate Fold
