I wanted to design a quick treat holder that would be inexpensive to make. I came up with this small chocolate "book". This is super easy to make and costs very little in supplies. Start with a piece of card stock that is 4.25" x 3.5". Score it down the center on the 4.25" side. Cut a piece of pattern paper to 3.5" by 1 7/8th". Glue down with tape runner. The ribbon wraps around the outside of the "book". Stamp your heart on a piece of white … [Read more...] about A Little Something…

Today we are showcasing products from the August-December Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Today I'm sharing the lovely stamp set Press On. This set was designed by one of Stampin Up's Million Dollar sellers. Can you believe that next week is Thanksgiving? Where has the year gone? I know, don't answer! Well, now it's getting close to crunch time for getting those Holiday gifts and cards made. One of my favorite products in the August-December Mini Catalog is the Heartwarming Hugs Suite. Oh my goodness! The coffee carrier and mini coffee cups are just the cutest thing ever. Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Honestly, I wasn't going to purchase the Poinsettia Place Suite. I was only going to get the Beaded Pearl embellishments. Then Stampin Up started their pattern paper sale on October 1st. And I decided I really kind of liked the pattern paper, specially on sale. So I added the paper to my cart. Then I realized that some of the dies in the stamp bundle actually cut out the poinsettias in the pattern paper. And... that was it. I ended up getting the … [Read more...] about Poinsettia Place
It's time to start ordering your Halloween craft supplies, if you haven't already. I love making small candy holders to share with family and friends. Our small 3x3" envelopes are the perfect size for the individual M&M packs of candy. I realize 3x3" cards are tough because they are too small to mail in the United States. And, it's such a small size to work with. However, they make an excellent treat holder if you need something relatively … [Read more...] about Boo!
Happy Friday! The new Rectangle tins are going to be perfect for the Holidays. The tins are sized big enough to hold credit card sized gift cards or cash of course. I've decorated this one for Autumn. When you make something like this, you want the paper wrap to be taped to itself, rather than to the tin. This allows the recipient to slid the wrap off the tin, instead of ripping it apart. Remember to have your paper seam be on the top … [Read more...] about Wishing You Well
This year's Holiday Catalog is filled with tons of cute things to make for your treats. I love the mini coffee cups and the variety of tins, but today I'm focusing on the new Little Treat Box dies. This Little Treats box is tiny. I took it with me to shop for candy at the store. It doesn't fit larger candy like the mini M&Ms or Skittles bags. It does fit two of the Hershey Nuggets in it side-by-side standing upright. Or the Hershey … [Read more...] about Little Treats Bundle
