Oh my goodness! The new Turtle pattern paper is simply adorable. There are turtles in marching bands, camping, enjoying sports, enjoying the beach, and party turtles. There are so many cute options with these critters, it's hard to decide what to make first. What do you think? Party turtles or summer turtles? Hello Friend
One more Storybook Friends card today. Did you know the pack of pattern paper includes two sheets of the preprinted characters colored in for easy use? There are so many little critters to choose from on the sheet. A bit of pattern paper, some ribbon, and those adorable critters make a quick and easy card. I don't make a lot of cards that have so much white space on the card, but I really like this one. Quick and simple can be so nice. … [Read more...] about Hello Friend
Thinking Of You
Clean and simple are some of my favorite cards. And they can look so elegant. Start with a large amount of white space, add a bit of subtle coloring in the background, finish it off with a lovely stamped image and voila, an amazing card. This is my last sample for now of the Nests of Winter Suite. I hope you love the different projects and ideas. Check back on Wednesday for a new Suite of projects. Nests Of Winter Suite Collection … [Read more...] about Thinking Of You
Thank You
This week, Stampin Up announced the Award Recognition categories for the 2023-24 Stampin Up year that just ended in September. I was thrilled to find out I placed Level 1 for both Sales and Team Building. I work hard to share my love of stamping and creating with all of you. I can't tell you how much it means to me when you choose me as your demonstrator. Thank you for your support of my small business. Today's card is a thank you card to … [Read more...] about Thank You
Making Your Own Background
One of the cards I shared Monday used the full-sized background die. It makes an amazing frame of pine boughs overlapping the interior of the frame. This is the die I'm referring to. Once you die cut the frame, you end up with a funny looking reverse image, or the inside piece from the frame. You can take that inside piece and use it to make a fabulous background. First, you'll want to center it over your card stock that you're going to … [Read more...] about Making Your Own Background
Nests of Winter
I've been trying to make a better effort to use all the supplies I purchase. I'm just like you.. I can easily get caught up buying stamps I like, and then don't get around to using all of them. I'm doing my best to make sure every stamp set gets some love before I file them away in my cabinet. The Nests of Winter Suite is one of my favorites from the September-December Catalog. I'm a sucker for a good bird stamp set. Add in some amazing … [Read more...] about Nests of Winter
Beautiful Things
Next week, I'll start sharing new products from the September-December Catalog which just started this past Tuesday. Before I get into the Holiday projects, I'm sharing one more project using Thought Wishes Bundle from the Annual Catalog. I can't believe I missed sharing this one earlier. I love bright fun colors and this one is made using the fun pattern paper, Full of Life. To make the beautiful butterflies, I die cut an entire row of … [Read more...] about Beautiful Things
Thank You
We're finishing up this week with another Sketched Butterflies card. This one actually came about using up some left over pieces from other projects. Plus it gave me a chance to practice my coloring the butterfly. I actually have one more project using this bundle. I'll share that one in a little bit. Next week, we are on to something new. Check back on Monday to see what's in store. Sketched Butterflies Bundle (English) - … [Read more...] about Thank You
