One of the brand new kits this month is the Christmas Ornaments kit. I am so excited for this kit. These ornaments are going to look amazing tied to the top of Holiday gifts. The ornaments are bigger than I thought they would be. The larger ones are almost 4" across. I just received a bunch of these kits last week. And after opening the box, you can bet I set one aside for myself. I haven't had a chance to make the ornaments yet, but I did … [Read more...] about New Kits Collection-Christmas Ornaments

New Scrapbooking Products
Did you know that Stampin Up has released a Mini Catalog featuring brand new scrapbook products? We've had the "pocket page" style of scrapbooking for several years, but the new products are specifically designed to be 12x12" pages. The Scrapbooking kits have a variety of ways that you can purchase the products. You can select a Workshop, which has the pattern paper, card stock, stickers, and directions to create pages. Thanks!
The Holiday season is flying by and it'll be January before we know it. I've been making an effort to use the last couple of stamp sets that I hadn't used yet from the August-December Catalog before it ends. One set I haven't had a chance to use very much is the Warmest Hearts bundles. Today's is a quick card using the thermos from the stamp set again. I just love the plaid look on the thermos. I still have another Holiday stamp set to … [Read more...] about Thanks!
What Was I Thinking?
Do you ever have one of those moments when you're enjoying the occasion and completely forget to take a single picture? Yep, that was me at our Stampin Up Holiday party last weekend. Oh well, we had a lovely lunch and afternoon spending time together. I do want to share one of the gifts I received that day. This adorable project was made by Lyndi and just look at what she did with the October Paper Pumpkin kit! This little wood box is … [Read more...] about What Was I Thinking?
A Rainbow Of Trees
While I still had the Merriest Trees bundle on my desk, I couldn't resist making a rainbow forest. I used my blending brushes to add some color to the white card stock behind each of the trees. I used the same five ink colors to match the five card stock colors. I placed the yellow tree in the center first. Then I added the red and green trees on the ends. Then the orange and blue trees fit in the middle. The card needed a little something more … [Read more...] about A Rainbow Of Trees
Now That’s A Tree
I'm back today showing all the fabulous layers for the Merriest Trees bundle. The die set comes with the four different sizes of the trees, which can be layered on top of each other to make a full tree. The stamp for the tree leaves is just one stamp. But it has a gap between each layer which allows you to stamp each of the different sizes of trees nicely. The snow drifts are hand cut on the bottom of the card. Super simple card and it … [Read more...] about Now That’s A Tree
Merriest Trees
One of my favorite stamp sets from the August-December Catalog is the Merriest Trees bundle. This set comes with several trees stamps and several sizes of tree dies that you can layer. For today's card, I used one of the middle size tree dies, which fits the greeting perfectly. I really enjoy making cards and sending them to family and friends at the Holidays. I typically get them done just before Christmas, but they always make it to … [Read more...] about Merriest Trees
