Another School Year is Done!
As a mom, there is such a feeling of relief when another school year ends. Even though mine are in college, it's still a sense of relief when you know they are now on a break. My son graduated from college in April - YAY! My daughter just finished up last week and we moved her home this weekend. When the kids were in elementary school, I used to surprise them with a little something to celebrate them finishing another school year. It was … [Read more...] about Another School Year is Done!
Alexa Says Its Time For Happy Hour
I'm so lucky that one of my closest friends, Lyndi, lives across the street from me. Well, her Alexa is pretty smart. Without fail, her Alexa will announce it's time for happy hour at 5:00 on Fridays and will start playing music to celebrate the end of the work week. I love smart technology! We tend to get together for a lot of happy hour Fridays. We'll usually have a charcuterie board, sometimes small, sometimes extravagant. And there is … [Read more...] about Alexa Says Its Time For Happy Hour

I also cut out the windmill with the plans to use them on a card. Well, it turned out everything together was way too big for a card. So everything sat on my desk in a little pile until I figured out what to make with it. One of my local stores sells these 6" plain wreaths that you can decorate. I hot … [Read more...] about Tulip Wreath
Bonus May Sampler-One In A Melon
For May I ended up making a second Sampler. I created this one for a themed scrapbook retreat that I worked at last month. The theme of the event was You're One In A Melon. I knew a picnic/melon themed sampler would compliment the decor for the event. Several people have asked what I do with the samplers. I use them as home decor pieces in my home. I change it out every month seasonally. Several customers have used them in scrapbooks, and … [Read more...] about Bonus May Sampler-One In A Melon

Ugh. As we approach the end of the January-June Catalog, we get a new Last Chance List for the products that will be retiring at the end of June. Once the list is released, products are while supplies last. I'm always a little sad when we have a Catalog retire, because I'm going to miss some great products. You can see the list of retiring products here. June is your last chance to get these items. Some are even on sale! … [Read more...] about Don’t Miss Out
