Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing stamp and die bundles.
My card today is a smaller version of the slimline card. This is 3.5″ x 6″. One of my favorite sets in the July-December Catalog is the Yeti To Party set. However, I really resisted purchasing this one because it initially did not have a matching die set. As soon as Stampin Up released the new die set in, I immediately added this bundle to my cart. I love having all the depth of the mountains cut out and the Yeti too.
My Yeti is ready for the Holiday season with his cute little present. To add the present, I cut around the fingers and slipped it into his hand.
And if you’re wondering how I made the snow on the mountains, that is our Snowfall Accents Puff Paint. I can already see that this puff paint is going to be a lot of fun on Holiday cards and projects. To get the puffed up look, you apply the puff paint and then heat it with your heat tool. It should puff up nicely like this. I recommend trying it on a practice sheet first to get the hang of it. Also, you’ll want to heat set it prior to gluing it down to your paper to avoid damaging the paper or vellum below.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put this together, just let me know.
