Soar
We are officially three days into “summer vacation” and we are doing good so far. We’ve had three days of Soccer Camp, our first official driving lesson (somebody just got her permit!), and time spent with friends. So far, I have not heard a single “I’m bored” or “there’s nothing to do around here”. I’ve got my fingers crossed that we can make it to Saturday without the “I’m bored” conversation and then I’ll call this week a win. I love to check … [Read more...] about Soar
May Paper Pumpkin Revisited
I've heard from some of you that the May Paper Pumpkin kit was a little tough because of too many "dad" cards. Even though this kit was designed with Father's Day in mind, it doesn't have to be just for the guys. You can give a card to one of your favorite nature-loving girlfriends or your friend that loves to camp. And with the variety of sentiments in the kit, you should have enough words to say what you want to say. Paper Pumpkin kits can … [Read more...] about May Paper Pumpkin Revisited

Coffee Time!

Just the right amount of sugar and cream, exactly measured out, paired with a lovely hazelnut coffee. That first sip of hot coffee in the morning is one of my favorite parts of the day. Today's project is my Ode to Coffee and all it's fabulousness. This is an … [Read more...] about Coffee Time!
Send Mom Some Love
As we count down to Mother's Day (five more days!), I have another project you can make for the mom that tells you "you don't have to get me anything". In the Occasions Catalog, there is a 3D box using the Apron dies. I really liked the idea of using the apron to make a box. This is a great idea to fill with a sweet treat for mom. It's big enough for a few candies or a gift card or both. Here is the Apron Box.The dimensions of the box are 2" wide … [Read more...] about Send Mom Some Love
A Rainbow of Brusho
I love it when Stampin Up comes out with a brand new product. There is nothing quite like playing with something new that you've never tried before. One of the preview products that I had for OnStage last Fall was Brusho. When I received it, I had never heard of this product. I had to google it and then I watched a couple videos on how it's used. Apparently Brusho has been around for awhile. Once I started playing around with it, I … [Read more...] about A Rainbow of Brusho
Life Long Friends
Twenty-some years ago when I started my first full-time job after college, I met some amazing ladies and made some dear friends. We’ve been through engagements and weddings, starting families and raising children, and so much more. These ladies are so very special to me. For the past several years, I’ve been making handmade ornaments for each of them for the Holidays. Here is this year’s ornament. The ornaments are made from plastic … [Read more...] about Life Long Friends
