Sometimes when I'm working on projects, I'll add and take away different pieces until I'm happy with it. Rarely do I end up with two totally different cards like today. Here is my first version. It's perfectly nice. But, I thought it needed more sparkle. So here's the second version. Whoa! Check out that gorgeous gold foiling on the pattern paper. And the leaf is die cut from the new Gold Shimmer Vellum paper. This second version … [Read more...] about Which Do You Like Better?
Hello and welcome to another episode of Diane is running behind again. Seriously! I had my July Customer Thank you cards ready to go a little while ago, but just managed to drop them off at the Post Office. Rest assured, I've already started on the August Thank You's and here's hoping that they make it to the Post Office before November. Sheesh! This thank you card might look a bit familiar. That's because I took the idea from the mini … [Read more...] about July Thank You’s
I started my June Thank you card weeks ago, but finally just got around to finishing them up and mailing them. Ugh. I usually plan to get them out earlier in the month, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. I used the Bloom Where You Planted Suite for this month's card. I love the combination of the pattern paper and the stamps and dies. Plus the paper is ON SALE this month. Hooray! Everything works together so well. I love how this looks … [Read more...] about June Customer Thank You’s
Today I'm sharing another project using the Turtle Friends bundle. This is the card that was sent out to customers that placed an order or subscribed to Paper Pumpkin during the month of May. I'm sure there's no such thing as pink turtles, and definitely not pink turtles with cheetah-print shells. But, I still think she's pretty cute. The shell is from our pattern paper and glued right on top of the stamped shell. Paper piecing is a fun idea … [Read more...] about May Thank You
I love making thank you cards for my customers every month and sending them out to my customers. I am grateful every single time that they chose me as their Stampin Up Demonstrator. In December, I had a couple customers that placed more than one order. Rather than sending them two of the same card, I made a slightly different card and those that made two purchases received one of each card. For the background on this card, I stamped the … [Read more...] about A Second Round of Customer Thank You’s…
I'm a little later than I like to be sending out my Customer Thank You cards, but with my plumbing adventure and a family matter, it is what it is. For the month of December, those customers that spent at least $50 received a thank you gift from me in addition to their card. I have a box of retired embellishments and ribbon that I hadn't used yet, so they were sent an item out of the box. My thank you card uses the Painted Poppies Suite … [Read more...] about December Customer Thank You’s
When another month comes to a close, that’s the time I work on my customer thank you cards for the previous month. This way, I know exactly how many to make for the previous month. It might seem like it would be easier to make them as I go, but then I’m make 1 or 2 at a time and getting the same supplies out over and over. Sending them out at the beginning of the next month definitely works better for me. And without further ado… here is the … [Read more...] about November Customer Thank You’s
Oh my goodness! This past Wednesday, I reached the $100,000 lifetime sales mark with Stampin Up. Actually, we did it. I would never have reached that mark without your support of my small business. This is so huge for me. Stampin Up is not my full time job, but it does allow me to do so many extra things for my kids that just wouldn't be possible without this extra income. Starting next Summer, I'll have two kids in college... anybody need some … [Read more...] about $100,000
