Sometimes when I'm working on projects, I'll add and take away different pieces until I'm happy with it. Rarely do I end up with two totally different cards like today. Here is my first version. It's perfectly nice. But, I thought it needed more sparkle. So here's the second version. Whoa! Check out that gorgeous gold foiling on the pattern paper. And the leaf is die cut from the new Gold Shimmer Vellum paper. This second version … [Read more...] about Which Do You Like Better?
Hello and welcome to another episode of Diane is running behind again. Seriously! I had my July Customer Thank you cards ready to go a little while ago, but just managed to drop them off at the Post Office. Rest assured, I've already started on the August Thank You's and here's hoping that they make it to the Post Office before November. Sheesh! This thank you card might look a bit familiar. That's because I took the idea from the mini … [Read more...] about July Thank You’s
I started my June Thank you card weeks ago, but finally just got around to finishing them up and mailing them. Ugh. I usually plan to get them out earlier in the month, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. I used the Bloom Where You Planted Suite for this month's card. I love the combination of the pattern paper and the stamps and dies. Plus the paper is ON SALE this month. Hooray! Everything works together so well. I love how this looks … [Read more...] about June Customer Thank You’s
Today I'm sharing another project using the Turtle Friends bundle. This is the card that was sent out to customers that placed an order or subscribed to Paper Pumpkin during the month of May. I'm sure there's no such thing as pink turtles, and definitely not pink turtles with cheetah-print shells. But, I still think she's pretty cute. The shell is from our pattern paper and glued right on top of the stamped shell. Paper piecing is a fun idea … [Read more...] about May Thank You
I've been trying to make a conscious effort to keep my studio less cluttered and to get things put away when I'm done with them. So, when I finish project, I get all the stamps put back in their box, all the dies and punches put away in their home as well. Occasionally, I end up with stamped leftover pieces or cut/punched paper. Sometimes I'm tempted to just toss them. It's just paper which is so inexpensive. Sometimes, I think, that's just … [Read more...] about Who Wants Leftovers?
Today I'm sharing my second version of my January Customer Thank You cards. I love making these every month. It gives me a chance to share a little love with friends and customers. This card focuses on the pattern paper again, just like Monday's card. The daisy on the label is hand cut from the pattern paper. So quick and easy. We've got four days left of Sale-A-Bration. Yikes! There's still time to get your FREE goodies. Pick a FREE … [Read more...] about Round Two-January Thanks
Happy Monday! We're down to the last week of Sale-A-Bration. Can you believe it's already here? I sure can't, that was so fast. Today I'm sharing one of my January Thank You cards that I sent out to customers who made a purchase during January. I absolutely love the Field & Flower paper from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. There are so many fabulous floral prints. This combination of red, yellow, and white flowers is just so pretty. I … [Read more...] about January Thank You’s
Oh my goodness, here it is, the first week in January and my December Customer Thank You Cards are in the mail. I don't think I've been this early in quite a while. Having all that time off around the Holidays sure helped me get some things done around here. If you've been around the last couple years, you might have heard the Baby Shark song. Well, guess what? Stampin Up has a new stamp set called Shark Frenzy! This is a fun set with sharks … [Read more...] about December Thank Yous
