If you're looking for some super quick and easy place card holders to make for your Christmas dinner tonight, this isn't them. :) But, these are just the cutest red trucks bringing you some Christmas cheer. These trucks are made using the Ride With Me stamp set and Truck Ride dies Bundle. Actually, these come together fairly quickly with a hot glue gun, but you probably won't have time to make a dozen of these for everyone arriving in the … [Read more...] about Merry Christmas!

Downline Gifts
For each OnStage event, I like to make a little gift for the ladies in my downline group that are attending. They get a little box with some goodies in it that will add a little something to their day. I like to use our mini pizza boxes because they are fairly sturdy and travel well. They are also just the right size for a few small goodies. This time the box included a lip balm, a package of cashews, chocolates, and some page … [Read more...] about Downline Gifts
A Bit of Seaside
Here in the US, we are enjoying a long weekend celebrating Labor Day today. I realize we still have another three weeks of Summer and in SoCal we actually have hot weather right up til Halloween. But, Labor Day typically signifies the unofficial end of summer since school typically starts around this time. Both kids are back in school now. College started a couple weeks ago for my oldest and my baby is a High School Senior this year. I … [Read more...] about A Bit of Seaside
Wild Roses
That statement that you can learn something new everyday is true. I recently made a bunch of note cards for a family member to use and I used the stamp set To a Wild Rose. That got me thinking… what is a wild rose? Or is that just something they used to name the stamp set? Did you know there is actually class of roses called wild roses? Who knew? Wild roses differ from garden roses as they tend to be a tougher, low-maintenance plant adaptable to … [Read more...] about Wild Roses
It’s a Two-For-One Today
First, thank you to everyone that didn’t mind that I took a day off work. Every now and then a break is much needed. Just like I promised on Monday, I’m back today with a simple and lovely card using the Magnolia Lane Suite. Actually, I have two different versions of this same card for you today. This is the first version of this card. Our pattern paper is just so pretty that I wanted to make it the focus on this card. I originally started with … [Read more...] about It’s a Two-For-One Today
Happy Friday!
Tomorrow I’ll be back at the Just Crop Retreat in Fullerton. I’m looking forward to seeing all the happy crafters at the Retreat. It is always so inspiring to see what everyone is working on. Afterwards, I just want to go home and make things. Today, I’m sharing one of the two make & takes I’ll have at the Retreat tomorrow. This make & take uses the Follow Your Art Suite of products. This is such a fun Suite – perfect for any … [Read more...] about Happy Friday!
There’s no such thing as too many flowers
The Perennial Essence pattern paper in the Annual Catalog is some of the prettiest paper I've ever seen. The floral images look like Monet painted them. Every time I pull out the paper to use it, I seriously debate the merits of using and sharing it versus hoarding it forever. Then I just remind myself, I can always buy more! This time I'm using it and sharing it with you. This paper looks so pretty with the Purple Posy card … [Read more...] about There’s no such thing as too many flowers
Card Class Tomorrow
I've been working like crazy to get the next card class put together for the Retreat that I'll be at tomorrow. And I still have so much to do! I wanted to share a quick sneak peak of the cards we'll be making. This is a big Retreat, bigger than any I've worked in the past. Like twice the amount of people! Oh my goodness! I'm a little nervous but that's okay. I just keep reminding myself that everything will be okay. Well, I've got to get … [Read more...] about Card Class Tomorrow
