July Paper Pumpkin Sampler
I love the adorable little picnic baskets that came in the July Paper Pumpkin kit. But I don't really have a lot of room to store 3D projects like that in my studio. Seriously, I would be overrun if I kept one of everything. Still, I really wanted to enjoy the look of the picnic basket and knew a Sampler would be perfect to display something like this. I took most of the various pieces from the July kit to make my 12x12 Sampler. I used the … [Read more...] about July Paper Pumpkin Sampler
Follow Your Dreams
The Catalog is a great place to get ideas for projects, but sometimes you don't have the right supplies or you just don't want to make something quite that large. Don't be afraid to take an idea out of the Catalog and put your own twist on it. A few weeks ago I shared a canvas that I made using the new Pop of Petals stamp set and tons of flowers. You can see it here. A project like this can take a fair amount of time and work to make. I … [Read more...] about Follow Your Dreams
Something Different
I know it's rare for me to post non-Stampin up products, but that doesn't mean that I don't occasionally use them in my personal crafting. And when my crafty friends design an amazing project, I am definitely game to make it. My friend Annette, the owner of AJ's Craft Cottage, makes these amazing seasonal frames. The cool factor with the frame is that you continue to reuse it and the individual panels pop in and out since they are held in with … [Read more...] about Something Different

Soar
We are officially three days into “summer vacation” and we are doing good so far. We’ve had three days of Soccer Camp, our first official driving lesson (somebody just got her permit!), and time spent with friends. So far, I have not heard a single “I’m bored” or “there’s nothing to do around here”. I’ve got my fingers crossed that we can make it to Saturday without the “I’m bored” conversation and then I’ll call this week a win. I love to check … [Read more...] about Soar
May Paper Pumpkin Revisited
I've heard from some of you that the May Paper Pumpkin kit was a little tough because of too many "dad" cards. Even though this kit was designed with Father's Day in mind, it doesn't have to be just for the guys. You can give a card to one of your favorite nature-loving girlfriends or your friend that loves to camp. And with the variety of sentiments in the kit, you should have enough words to say what you want to say. Paper Pumpkin kits can … [Read more...] about May Paper Pumpkin Revisited
