What’s New At Stampin Up – First Frost

Today, I’m joining The What’s New at Stampin Up Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrator from around the world who are Hoppin’ with exciting ideas to share with you.
Today we will feature products from the Holiday Catalog. I know you will find a lot of wonderful ideas shared today.

As soon as September rolls around, I start to add the Fall decor around the house. Every year I like to add a new project and somehow they all seem to work together over the years even though they may be slightly different colors. This year’s project is a mini chalkboard decorated with products from the Frosted Floral Suite in the new Holiday Catalog. 
 
I don’t know what I love more… the First Frost stamp set or the Frosted Floral paper. The flowers in the stamp set are so lovely and they come in multiple sizes. I used the smaller flowers here for the chalkboard. To get the two-toned color of the flower, I stamped it first in Blushing Bride. Then I used a dauber to add a bit of Blackberry Bliss in the center. The Frosted Floral paper is a specialty paper. It has this glorious shimmer on all the sheets. So very pretty in person. 

This stamp set has a coordinating die set, Frosted Bouquet. The die set has both dies to cut the stamped images and extra dies to add the greenery around your flowers, like shown above. I’ll have a few more projects to share in the coming weeks using these same products. You definitely need to add the Frosted Floral Suite to your next order. I can promise you won’t be sorry! You are going to love the Holiday Catalog! There are so many good things in the Catalog and you can begin ordering starting September 5th (Wednesday).
