Daisy Lane

Last year sometime (or maybe it was the year before?), I found these mini clipboards on sale at a local craft store. So of course I bought half a dozen of them even though I had no idea what I was actually going to do with them. I knew I needed them because they were on sale. I just didn’t know what I needed them for. Do you do this too: buy it on sale because you know you’re going to need it someday? Well, I finally used one of them. Only five more to go!

It’s a toss up which I prefer… the Daisy Lane bundle or the Magnolia Suite. The Magnolia Suite and paper is so very pretty. But, our die sets can be a bit much with all the different pieces to assemble those magnolia flowers. Sometimes you just can’t beat stamping and punching. It’s so easy. So, I am still loving the Daisy Lane stamp set and coordinating punches for how fast these flowers come together.

Can I tell you how tickled I am that you can actually stamp both sides of the flower? I don’t know if this was intentional or if it’s just a happy accident, but this really allows for some nice 3D projects like this clipboard. You an see a close up below of both sides of the daisy petals. This is so cool!To stamp both sides of your daisy, you’ll want to stamp one side first, then punch it out. Flip the punched piece over, then stamp the back side. With a little bit of practice, you can achieve pretty good results on that back side.

Stampin Up is running a promo right now for Demonstrators that sell three of the new Daisy Lane bundle. They will give those of us that sell three sets a free stamp set from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I’m so close to earning the free stamp set… who else needs a bundle? Just click on the Order Online button on the right and it will take you right to my shop. The bundle is item #151118 and it’s $35 for both the stamp set and the Medium Daisy punch. Plus if you spend $50 pre-tax/shipping, you’ll earn a $5 Bonus Days coupon to use in August.

To sweeten the deal, for those of you that purchase the Daisy Lane bundle by July 22nd, I will send you a small sample of the Designer Elements. The Designer Elements are the round metal pieces that I used in the center of my flowers. This offer is valid only through me and not through another Demonstrator or Stampin Up directly. Orders must be placed by 10:00 pm PST on 7/22/19. You can either order online in my shop or contact me to place an order for you. The Designer Element samples will be mailed out in the July thank you cards, which will be sent early August.
