There's just something so sweet about pink and red hearts. Add in a bit of gold and you've got a fabulous card. Since I was working with the this fabulous paper and die cutting a bunch of things, I ended up with some strips of heart cut-outs. Not willing to let them go to waste, I used them on my card. On Monday I shared a perfectly lovely simple card. Today we are going to step it up a notch. January Sampler-Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras is right around the corner. I know it's not a widely celebrated Holiday, but after having gone to New Orleans a couple years ago, I thought this would be a fun theme for a sampler kit. Blue or Pink?
When making cards, a lot of the time I will start with the pattern paper to pick what color I'm going to use. Sometimes I can't decide which color is going to match the best. Usually, I'll pick one or the other and just go with it. And sometimes, I'll make it in both colors, which is what I did for today's card.
