Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing some fabulous Metallic products from the Stampin’ Up! Catalog.
I used the Layers of Beauty stamp set for my card today. This is a really cool bundle. It comes with a stamp set, dies, and stencils. The stencils are a pack of five and each stencil is cut out to color a specific portion of this stamp. By using all the stencils, you’re able to add multiple colors and shading to different parts of the stamp. For my card below, I used only two colors. But by adding extra layers of ink to specific areas, it really shows off the shading.
Then I added in our Metallic Enamel Effects around the flowers. I also added a bit of it to the centers of the smaller flowers. Here’s a close up of what it looks like.
The Metallic Enamel Effects has a really fine tip. You can add dots to your projects or lines or anything else. This product comes in a set of three colors: Copper, Gold, and Silver. I used the gold in my project above.
