Years ago, when I was a kid, my mom decided we should try riding in a hot air balloon. My dad was always game to try something new so she made reservations for an early morning ride. I can still remember showing up at the field as they are filling the balloon. I was in awe of the size of the balloon. It was massive. Hot air balloons have always been one of those things that intrigue me. I do not like being up in high places, yet sailing across … [Read more...] about Hot Air Balloon
Our Dies Are So Pretty
When you need an elegant card, the Stitched Lace background die is the perfect choice. This one die is big enough to cover an entire card front at 5-7/8" x 4-5/16". It is so pretty that it hardly needs anything else on the card. For today's card, I wanted to keep the focus on that amazing Stitched Lace. So gorgeous! When using this die, I highly recommend the die brush to go with it. Our new die brush fastens into the top of the Take … [Read more...] about Our Dies Are So Pretty
May Paper Pumpkin Revisited
A few weeks ago, I promised to share an alternate project for May's Paper Pumpkin kit. And here it is. Finally. Today's project is a 12x12" piece of artwork that I will put in a shadowbox frame. Most of the elements are adhered using dimensionals. This piece uses three of the card fronts from the May kit. To see what the May kit looked like completed as is, click here. You might recall that this kit coordinated with the Bird Ballad Suite in … [Read more...] about May Paper Pumpkin Revisited

You can peel off as many petals as you need to make your flower. I found the best way to work with these is to arrange them on a small piece of card stock. I used a 1/2" circle punch to make my circle. Once you've added the petals to your circle, add a bit of baby … [Read more...] about Pressed Petals
