This past Monday, I shared my Halloween in a jar. You can see that post here. Today, it's Christmas! To make this jar, you will need the items on the supply list below and our fine-tip glue. I'll give you a quick run down on how to assemble this. Start by stamping and die cutting all your pieces for the inside of the jar. You will need one house and two of the smaller trees. One the trees, cut off the bottom third of the tree.In the … [Read more...] about Christmas In A Jar

Boo!
Somehow I managed to stock up on our mini jam jars so I really need to get creative with some different uses for them. The jars are 2" tall by 2.5" wide so whatever I was going to make needed to be tiny. A few months ago, I jumped on the tiered tray bandwagon. This is basically a tray that has multiple layers, usually two or sometimes three, and you decorate them with little seasonal items. Usually the decor is crafty-type handmade items. … [Read more...] about Boo!
Pretty Pillowbox
When a new Catalog comes out, I'm always looking for new packaging ideas. I'm not sure how I missed this one, considering it's near the very front of the July-December Catalog. Possibly because it's in with a Christmas Suite of products and I hadn't really started looking at the Holiday stuff yet. The pillbox die is a larger die and it does not fit in our Mini die cut machine. You'll need a full size die cut machine for this one. The … [Read more...] about Pretty Pillowbox
It’s Just Like A Crime Scene
But worse! Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit. But this is today's craftermath! It's just like an aftermath, but specifically crafter related. Yes, this is the reality of my desk right now. No judging.. you know you do this too. I spy a some beautiful pattern paper, a project using the pillowbox die, and a fabulous deer punch. It's perfectly nice. But, I thought it needed more sparkle. So here's the second version. Whoa! Check out that gorgeous gold foiling on the pattern paper. And the leaf is die cut from the new Gold Shimmer Vellum paper. This second version … [Read more...] about Which Do You Like Better?
Whimsical Trees
Did you know we are less than 100 days to Christmas? Oh my goodness! The year is just racing by. It will be 2022 before we know it. If you haven't started your Christmas cards yet, today's card is a great option. This is an easy card to make. Just stamp the trees in a variety of colors and then die cut them out. I added a bunch of the Subtle Shimmer Sequins around the card and to several of the trees. The sequins are not self-adhesive and I … [Read more...] about Whimsical Trees
