Ronald MacDonald House Treats
At our last Downline Meeting, we made Halloween treats for our local Ronald MacDonald House. I love doing this project for the House guests. It's a little something that we can easily do to help brighten their day. We used the coffin boxes for our treat holders this month. The tops of the boxes were heat embossed with versa mark and a spiderweb pattern. Inside, we added monsters. The monsters are on a piece of window sheet and they pop … [Read more...] about Ronald MacDonald House Treats
Creepin It Real
A few weeks ago, one of Stampin Up's artists posted a similar card to this one I'm sharing today. Melody has such a fun, creative style - it's no wonder she's a professional artist. I took her idea with the sweet monster hiding behind a wall and made my own card. This little guy is actually quite short. I stretched him out to better fit my card. To do this, I covered the bottom half of the stamp with a post-it and inked only the top and … [Read more...] about Creepin It Real
Ghoulish Gate Fold
Before I share today's project, I just want to remind you that today is the last day of the Stampin Up pattern paper sale! Now for today's project... Today's card is a gate fold card design. This is what the card looks like closed. Then you open both sides at the middle. Notice that the label and frame are centered over the middle of the card above. There are so many great Halloween products, but I generally don't send Halloween cards. However, I knew I needed this "wicked" die cut for future scrapbooking purposes. My colorful background was made using the new Pigment Sprinkles. The new Sprinkles come in our Stampin Up … [Read more...] about Wicked!
Harvest Hellos
Hello Friday! It's been a busy week around here getting ready for a couple more events this month. Today I'm sharing one of the make & takes that I'll have at the Just Crop Retreat tomorrow. This make & take uses the Harvest Hellos stamp set and the brand new Mini Curvy Keepsake box. We had a similar treat box called the Curvy Keepsake a couple years ago and it was super popular. The Mini version is about half the size of the other … [Read more...] about Harvest Hellos
Boo!
Technically, we are still another week out from the first day of Fall. But, the stores have had Halloween stuff on their shelves for a few weeks now. So, I feel pretty good that I've held off this long sharing more Halloween projects. The stamp set Boo To You contains several delightfully spooky creatures. This little werewolf guy just can't wait to scare you!I colored him using the Stampin Blends markers. I love the depth of color that you get … [Read more...] about Boo!
EEEK!
Did you know you can make a countdown calendar for just about anything? Like counting down to a special birthday, or a special occasion, or a holiday, or even the last day of school. I have several different countdown calendars that I've used through the years. One of my favorites is our vacation countdown calendar. The kids loved this one when they were little because they could see that number getting smaller every single day, which meant we … [Read more...] about EEEK!
