As we're approaching the end of the school year, I can't wait until we are sailing into the Summer break. I think this Croc is looking forward to it as well. Just look at that happy smile on his face and he pedals away. It's kind of funny, but with a kid in College, school is very hands-off at this point. But, I still look forward to the school breaks and visits home. There's nothing better than hugging them after it's been a few weeks since … [Read more...] about Smiling Croc

Party Animal
Happy Monday! I'm back with the Zoo Crew Suite today with another party animal - the raccoon. I love that one of the dies in the set can cut out this raccoon in the pattern paper. I don't mind cutting out one or two animals, but with the die I can cut a lot of them easily. I was debating coloring in the raccoon, but I really like how these animals look with the minimal coloring. I've really enjoyed using the pattern paper. Next I'm going … [Read more...] about Party Animal
You’re Too Wonderful
Happy Friday! I decided I needed to step away from the Crafting With You bundle so I can share some other fabulous new products. One of the cutest new Suites is the Zoo Crew Suite. I'm a sucker for any cute critter stamp set and this Suite is loaded with lots of critters doing lots of different activities, like crafting and camping. I'm using the party animals today. The elephant is from the pattern paper. The dies in the set cut out some of … [Read more...] about You’re Too Wonderful
It’s All About Color
There's nothing like a pretty rainbow of colors. And apparently, I can make just about anything into a pretty rainbow, like these spools of thread. The spools are tiny so I recommend using our fine-tip glue to assemble them. I love the textured look of the thread on the spools and the dies make the texture for you. And let's talk about the sentiment.. Life is better when you're crafting! I completely agree with this idea. Life IS better … [Read more...] about It’s All About Color
Sewing A Little Love
Once upon a time, I used to do a lot of sewing. I still have my sewing machine, which was originally my grandmother's sewing machine, and all my sewing supplies. I still have a stash of fabric that I have yet to do any thing with. I even have some half started quilts stored away in a box. Even though I don't really do any sewing any longer, I was tickled to see the sewing machine and bobbins in the stamp set. I loved the idea of making a … [Read more...] about Sewing A Little Love
The In Color Line Up
On Wednesday, the New at SU Group shared some great ideas using the brand new 2023-25 In Colors. Today, I'm focusing on the colors themselves. Here they are... I thought the Boho Blue was going to be my favorite, but I'm really loving Moody Mauve. I've already had to purchase more of both the Boho Blue and Moody Mauve card stock. Pebbled Path is also a nice neutral color. It has worked really well with blue, green, and mauve. To be … [Read more...] about The In Color Line Up

May Sampler-Fiesta
I've been making these samplers close to three years now. I've done most of the major Holidays and I've been working on other themes for a while now. Coming up with different ideas has been so much fun. For May, this is my nod to Cinco De Mayo. Several people have asked what I do with the samplers. I use them as home decor pieces in my home. I change it out every month seasonally. Several customers have used them in scrapbooks, and another … [Read more...] about May Sampler-Fiesta
