Last week, a girlfriend's daughter turned ONE. She is such an adorable baby. She had a mermaid-themed birthday party complete with a small waterside for the bigger kids (by bigger, I mean 4 year olds). The mermaid also took a couple turns on the waterslide and she loved it too. Wouldn't you know it, I do not have one single mermaid stamp in my stash. I may have to fix that problem, but for now, I had to make do with what I have. I pulled out … [Read more...] about A Little Mermaid Turns One
Five Minute Friday – Pineapples
I tell you, it's been a week of Mondays and the week isn't over yet. Not having a working fridge the past four days has challenged my culinary skills. I'm on the countdown now, only 3 more days until the new fridge arrives. And we're down to butter, a couple condiments, creamer, and warm beer. If we're going to eat anything tomorrow, it's coming home in a take-out box. When I found out we wouldn't have a fridge for a whole week, I should have … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Pineapples

OnStage April 2016 – Tip Top Taupe
This past April, I was fortunate to be selected to be an OnStage Display Stamper. What does it mean to be selected to be a Display Stamper? It means that I was selected to make projects that were up on display for all the Demonstrators to see at the OnStage Live Event in Salt Lake City. This would be the first time other demonstrators would be seeing new products being used. It was a totally amazing experience and I was thrilled to be … [Read more...] about OnStage April 2016 – Tip Top Taupe

I take a lot of pictures. My husband takes even more than me. We used to be more conservative in our picture taking when we still actual film. We'd routinely have four or five rolls to be developed at a time. In fact, I used to have a basket where we'd keep the shot rolls before we developed them. We switched over to digital cameras shortly after they came out. We love digital photography. We love the freedom of taking a ton of pictures and then … [Read more...] about 280,432
What’s With All The Leftovers?
As a mom, I love leftovers. In fact, I look forward to leftover night because it means I don't have to cook! When the kids were younger, we'd have a leftover night once a week. I would get all the containers of leftovers we'd accumulated over the last couple days and it was first come, first served. Until I started doing this, I never saw kids so eager to pick out leftovers for dinner. Now that I have two teenagers, there are never any left … [Read more...] about What’s With All The Leftovers?
Five Minute Friday – The Struggle Is Real
Let's face it, crafting for men is really hard. In general, men are not “savers”. They don’t like to keep things. They appreciate the sentiment in the moment, but then they move on. After being married for almost 20 years, I get it. And even though I know my card may end up in the trash, I still take the time to handmake cards for the men in my life. For me, it’s not just about the card itself. I want them to know they are important to me. And … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – The Struggle Is Real
