Okay, be honest, did you just gasp there? Seriously, the days are sailing by at light speed. Before you know it, Back To School supplies will be on sale and Halloween will be right around the corner. And once the Halloween decorations come out, the rest of the holidays will be here as well. Like I said, it's almost 2017. It is not too early to start working on those Christmas projects that never quite seem to get done every year. (Admit it, … [Read more...] about Only 185 More Days Until Christmas!
Failure Is Not An Option, Part 2
A few weeks ago I shared this post here where we tried to make our own texture paste at one of our Downline Meetings. Here's a quick look at that card again. Some were slightly better than others, but most of them were similar to this. I promised that I would revisit this technique and see if I could get better results. Lyndi and I got together to give it a try using the same exact stamp set that Sara Douglass used in her sample. We … [Read more...] about Failure Is Not An Option, Part 2
Five Minute Friday – Foxy Friends
We are celebrating around here because school ended yesterday! Summer starts today! To be honest, towards the last couple weeks of school we are counting down the days and hours til the end. My kids are awesome students, but they I cannot wait for the exams, homework, and projects to be done. A big thank you to all the teachers who did not assign huge reports the last two weeks of school. And to those that did - really? Anyway... on to the fun … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Foxy Friends

Last Thursday was our Downline Meeting and I had a couple different prizes for some of the ladies. The first was a pretty package of rhinestones for Lyndi, who promoted to Bronze Elite this month. This is a big accomplishment since she originally said … [Read more...] about Prizes and Recognition!

More flowers please!
Do you ever do this? See something and think “I’ll pass on that set, don’t need another one of those”? Then you start to notice all sorts of things being made with it. And they are so pretty! And then you start to waffle on whether or not you might need that set. When the Occasions Catalog came out last January, the Grateful Bunch stamp set was one that I totally bypassed. It was okay, but I didn’t really need another flower stamp set. It did … [Read more...] about More flowers please!
Shaker Cards
Have you noticed that shaker cards are really popular lately? There's just something totally cool about seeing all those little sparkly sequins moving around inside the card. There are two ways to make a shaker. You can add it to the front of the card so it's sitting on top. Or, you can add it to the side of the card. This card has the shaker on the inside and all the mechanics for the shaker are completely hidden. Even though this looks … [Read more...] about Shaker Cards
