I promised last week that I would start sharing the Display Projects that I made for OnStage very soon. And it's time to get the party started! One of the brand new Product Suites that will appear in the Occasions Catalog is the Party Animal Suite. Oh my goodness! You are going to love everything in this Suite. The Balloon adventures photopolymer stamp set comes with 17 stamps. I think my favorites in this set is the two piece banner that you … [Read more...] about OnStage Displays…Let’s Get This Party Started
Five Minute Friday
Happy Five Minute Friday! I’ve sure missed posting these the last couple weeks and I have a great one for you today! This project will be one of my Make & Takes at the Just Crop Retreats tomorrow. If you’re looking for some time away from home with girlfriends, Rachel does an excellent job with these retreats. Next year, there will be seven retreat weekends, lots of dates to choose from. When I first received my Holiday Catalog, I saw the … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday
Roadtrip Recap
Last Friday, the four of us hit the road for Phoenix. It's a long story, but we ended up having to take the Camaro. :) Yep, we fit the four of us and our luggage in the Camaro. Amazing! Probably not the best decision to take a car that gets only 12 miles to the gallon. But, our options were limited. At least it gave us a chance to stop at gas stations and stretch our legs (have you seen how small the backseat is in a Camaro?). At one … [Read more...] about Roadtrip Recap
So Thankful
I made it back from OnStage yesterday. I always feel like I need a vacation once our vacation is over. We end up staying up way too late and we always have to get up early to get going in the morning. I might have to get a tshirt that says: I survived! I promise I will share some photos from our OnStage experience very soon. And I can’t share my projects that I made for the displays for a few more days. Don’t worry, I have lots of other … [Read more...] about So Thankful
OnStage – Phoenix
Today we leave for OnStage in Phoenix. This is a one day event put on by Stampin Up for active Demonstrators. You’re probably wondering why we take the time and trouble to attend a one day event six hours away from us. Honestly, there is nothing like these events to inspire and motivate me. I love attending Stampin Up events. Saturday’s event will be filled with business tips, stamping presentations, and recognition for various achievements. … [Read more...] about OnStage – Phoenix
What A Difference A Year Makes
Or a couple years. I love that feature on Facebook that reminds you to share your memories again. It really shows just how much things can change. Or maybe stay the same. Yesterday I had about 10 memories come up, which is quite a few for one day. And they all centered on one thing: my daughter's birthday. It was really amazing to see how much she's changed through the years. Here she is on her last five birthdays, from 10 years old to … [Read more...] about What A Difference A Year Makes
One Last Halloween Hurrah
Happy Halloween! Today I'm sharing my final Halloween project for the year. This is a quick and simple card you can make for your favorite little monster. This pumpkin is from the Jar of Haunts stamp set. After I stamped my pumpkin, I used my aqua painter to add a little Smoky Slate to make a "ground" for the pumpkin to sit on. It's a little hard to see, but there is a mini tassel tied onto the Halloween Bakers Twine.Sorry today's post is so … [Read more...] about One Last Halloween Hurrah
More Gift Card Holders
When I was in the process of making all those coffee gift card holders, I decided I better make some larger gift card holders as well. So many stores have gone to those gift cards that are 4x5". Today's project fits that larger gift card size and they are large enough that you could tuck a little something else inside too.I made two different versions of these, using different pattern paper on the outside and a different color insert on the … [Read more...] about More Gift Card Holders
