I've spent so little time making things in my studio lately, but I did manage to make a card using the Parisian Blossoms Suite. This Suite was one of my very first purchases from the Occasions Catalog and I've hardly had a chance to use it. I used our Champagne Foil paper to cut out the Eiffel Tower. The script writing in the patter paper is a champagne colored foil and it matches our Champagne Foil paper so well. It look so pretty in real … [Read more...] about We’ll Always Have Paris
Today's card was created by a dear friend who came to my rescue so I could share a project with you today. She must be tired of my vague promises of something awesome coming soon. Haha! This fabulous card was designed and created by Poli Rizco. The stamp set is called Music From The Heart. It's actually one that I hadn't really noticed in the catalog so I'm very glad that she used it. And the "forget your trebles" is just perfect for … [Read more...] about Forget Your Trebles
I seriously over-estimated my capabilities in getting a new project made and ready to post for today. I'm still surrounded by boxes and piles of craft supplies in my studio. In the meantime, I will leave you with one of my favorite projects so far from the Spring Catalog. I just love this adorable little lion from the Birthday Bonaza Suite. He's just the cutest little love. These foil heart treat holders are still available to … [Read more...] about I’ve Got Nothing…
If you’ve been following my plumbing saga... All the home repairs are now done. And now I start the process of unpacking all those boxes. This is just a small fraction of what there is to unpack. Unfortunately, no time to share a project today as I’m still in the process of putting stuff away. I’ll try to have something ready to go by Wednesday for you. This has been quite a process. Current Specials It's that time of year… … [Read more...] about Moving Back In
We survived another week at home and everyone is still alive, we still have food, and more importantly, we still have Toilet paper. Actually, it hasn’t been that bad...lots of time with the kids, lots of time with my assistant Frannie, and lots of time to just be. I know for so many people, being at home constantly is really hard. I can appreciate that. As someone who has felt like she’s on a never ending treadmill raising two teens on her own, … [Read more...] about We Did It!
It’s the last week of Sale-A-Bration and Stampin Up is offering a few more items as freebies. It’s great that Stampin Up does this because you probably have all the Sale-A-Bration items you wanted by now. You can click on the Order Online button on the right and it will take you directly to my shop. Don’t forget to add … [Read more...] about Last Week of Sale-A-Bration
This is definitely one of those "hidden gem" stamp sets. I've made a few cards using several of the images and I can't wait to make more. There are a number of stamps for different occasions in the set. The images are just the cutest and begged to be colored. I colored the berry using my Blends alcohol markers, using Real Red and Old Olive. I used the same design from the card I shared on Friday for this card... the pattern paper as the … [Read more...] about Witty-cisms
I send all my customers that make a purchase a thank you card. In February, I had a couple customers that made more than one purchase and I didn't want to send them two of the same card. This is the alternate thank you card that I sent out. This card uses the adorable stamp set Witty-cisms. This stamp set was designed by Stampin Up Demonstrator Lisa Fast that achieved $1,000,000 in sales. Designing your own stamp set is one of the perks of … [Read more...] about Another Round of Thanks
