We survived another week at home and everyone is still alive, we still have food, and more importantly, we still have Toilet paper. Actually, it hasn’t been that bad...lots of time with the kids, lots of time with my assistant Frannie, and lots of time to just be. I know for so many people, being at home constantly is really hard. I can appreciate that. As someone who has felt like she’s on a never ending treadmill raising two teens on her own, … [Read more...] about We Did It!

This is definitely one of those "hidden gem" stamp sets. I've made a few cards using several of the images and I can't wait to make more. There are a number of stamps for different occasions in the set. The images are just the cutest and begged to be colored. I colored the berry using my Blends alcohol markers, using Real Red and Old Olive. I used the same design from the card I shared on Friday for this card... the pattern paper as the … [Read more...] about Witty-cisms
I send all my customers that make a purchase a thank you card. In February, I had a couple customers that made more than one purchase and I didn't want to send them two of the same card. This is the alternate thank you card that I sent out. This card uses the adorable stamp set Witty-cisms. This stamp set was designed by Stampin Up Demonstrator Lisa Fast that achieved $1,000,000 in sales. Designing your own stamp set is one of the perks … [Read more...] about Another Round of Thanks
Even though I was really late sending out my January Thank You's, I managed to get the February Thank You's in the mail at the end of February! Yay, me! Of course, I kept the February Thank You cards relatively simple, because I absolutely loved the way this pattern paper looks. It looks just like acrylic paint on a canvas - just stunning! This is the smaller lily stamp from the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set and matching Lily Pad dies. … [Read more...] about February Customer Thank You’s
Today's card is a make & take from a recent retreat that I worked at. This uses the stamp set Timeless Tulips and coordinating Tulip punch. I love how this card turned out. I used some of the Lily Impressions pattern paper in the background. To color the tulip, I used the baby-wipe technique. This is a fun technique and it turns out different every time. For my Tuilp below, I used Lovely Lipstick, Melon Mambo, and Flirty Flamingo … [Read more...] about Timeless Tulips
We're now half way through March and Easter isn't that far off. No, really. I figured there's no time like the present, getting started on those Easter treats. Today's project is a matchbook treat holder. I couldn't decide what color to use, so I made this in both the blue and the purple. Usually, I make these like a traditional matchbook you see in a restaurant. This time, I made the small side on top. You can see what I mean here … [Read more...] about Easter Is Around The Corner
