Framed Floral Squares
Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing my final project (for now) using the Floral Square dies. I had an older shadowbox frame in my living room and I decided it was time to change it out. This combines both the subtle background plus a pop of color. The yellow and the red match my living room decor and paint colors. It really is a simple looking project, but I like the clean look. And when I tire of it, I can easily replace it. Do you … [Read more...] about Framed Floral Squares
Floral Squares In Color
I'm back today with another card using the Floral Squares dies again. This time I added lots of color and I'm using one of the pattern papers that is on sale this month. I found a similar design for this card online, but I added the layer of pattern paper to add a bright punch of color to the card. Plus I changed the design slightly. I colored my Opal Rounds with my light Flirty Flamingo Blend marker to give them a hint of pink. We … [Read more...] about Floral Squares In Color
May Thank You
Today I'm sharing another project using the Turtle Friends bundle. This is the card that was sent out to customers that placed an order or subscribed to Paper Pumpkin during the month of May. I'm sure there's no such thing as pink turtles, and definitely not pink turtles with cheetah-print shells. But, I still think she's pretty cute. The shell is from our pattern paper and glued right on top of the stamped shell. Paper piecing is a fun idea … [Read more...] about May Thank You
Do You Die Cut?
I love the way our stamped images look cut out, but I don't always love to cut them out with scissors. Hand cutting it with scissors can take so much time. One of my favorite tools that I use ALL the time is our die cut machine. And even better, we have two different machines to choose from. We have our full size machine, perfect for die cutting, embossing, etc. And, we have a brand new Mini machine. The Mini machine looks just like the … [Read more...] about Do You Die Cut?
Turtle Friends
I just can’t resist a cute critter. Every time a new catalog comes out, I tell myself I don’t need more animal stamps. Yet, here we are. I’m the new owner of Turtle Friends. Today’s card keeps the spotlight on this adorable critter. I used Soft Succulent ink and stamped it on the matching color card stock. I tried a couple other greens, but I think this color is my favorite. It really turned out to be a great color for this little guy. I … [Read more...] about Turtle Friends
Merry Christmas!
If you're looking for some super quick and easy place card holders to make for your Christmas dinner tonight, this isn't them. :) But, these are just the cutest red trucks bringing you some Christmas cheer. These trucks are made using the Ride With Me stamp set and Truck Ride dies Bundle. Actually, these come together fairly quickly with a hot glue gun, but you probably won't have time to make a dozen of these for everyone arriving in the … [Read more...] about Merry Christmas!
Downline Gifts
For each OnStage event, I like to make a little gift for the ladies in my downline group that are attending. They get a little box with some goodies in it that will add a little something to their day. I like to use our mini pizza boxes because they are fairly sturdy and travel well. They are also just the right size for a few small goodies. This time the box included a lip balm, a package of cashews, chocolates, and some page … [Read more...] about Downline Gifts
