Happy Friday! Today, I'm sharing the July Paper Pumpkin Kit. This month's kit was definitely unique. The kit included supplies to make nine postcards and envelopes and 9 tea light bags. You can see the three postcard styles in the upper left of the photo below. And just in case postcards and tea lights aren't your thing, Stampin Up offered an add on kit that you could purchase separately to turn these supplies into 24 cards with envelopes. … [Read more...] about July Paper Pumpkin
Round Two Thank You’s
In June, I was lucky to have a couple customers that made more than one purchase. Today's card is the second version of my Customer Thank You cards. This time I'm using the individual flower dies from the Blossoms In Bloom bundle. The large label die is from the Hippo & Friends die set. This die set is a really good one with three different styles of labels in three different sizes each. Plus it also has the dies for the hippo, unicorn … [Read more...] about Round Two Thank You’s
Blossoms In Bloom
I just can't get enough of pretty flowers and the Blossoms In Bloom Bundle does not disappoint. One of the great things about the stamp set is that all the various pieces are all separate. This makes it so much easier to get the right ink colors on the right pieces. The yellow flowers are all on one giant stamp. The flower centers, leaves, and small pink flowers are all individual stamps. This is the card that I sent out to those customers … [Read more...] about Blossoms In Bloom
Make Your Own Mini Album
I've had a number of messages about how I made the Mini Album I shared a few weeks ago. This type of chipboard mini album is actually pretty easy to put together. Once you've figured out the mechanics of one album, you can make this in any size and shape you want. For this album, I used two 6x6" chipboard pieces and a 1x6" chipboard piece for the center spine. You'll need four pieces of card stock cut to 6x6" and one piece cut to 2x6". The … [Read more...] about Make Your Own Mini Album
Love You More Than…
Cocktails! Today's card is another card for the over 21 crowd. My son saw this one and asked who I'd give a card like this too. I'm sure I have a couple girlfriends who would laugh at this one. This card uses the coordinating dies for the Nothing's Better Than stamp set. I love the different words in the die set and the combinations you can make. I used the foam adhesive sheets on the word cocktails again. I love the way it looks … [Read more...] about Love You More Than…
Adulting Is Hard
Happy Monday! I'm pretty sure it's Monday. Although it does seem like the days blend together lately. I'm having so much fun playing with the Nothing's Better Than stamp set. Today's card is for the over 21 crowd. Cocktails, because adulting is hard. I love that all the drink pieces in the stamp set are individual. Since the set is a photopolymer set, it makes it pretty easy to line up the glass, drink, lemon, and umbrella. This makes it … [Read more...] about Adulting Is Hard
Round Two
I was fortunate to have several customers make more than one purchase in May. I hate to send two of the same card to them so I very often have a second thank you card that goes out. Today I'm sharing the second version of the May Customer Thank You cards. I still have the Nothing's Better Thank stamp set out on my desk and I'm having so much fun coming up with different combos of images and sentiments. Here's a a fun trick with the … [Read more...] about Round Two
Adventure Awaits!
I'm doing my best to catch up on everything I have on my to-do list. And, I had one more Graduation card to make this year. I really love the Beautiful World stamp set and I think it works perfectly for a graduation. Moving on from High School to College is a huge adventure. For this card, I made a stack of books with a globe on top. To get the rounded spines on the side of the books, I used a bit of our foam adhesive strip in the center of … [Read more...] about Adventure Awaits!
