Our Stampin Up Catalogs are great resources for project ideas. Today’s card is very similar to one of the cards in the new January-June Catalog. I love that the Catalogs have lots of ideas so I can just borrow an idea when I need to.
This card uses the new Blending Brushes to add the pink shading behind the heart. The heart is punched out and added using our dimensionals so you can see a hint of the pink outline around the heart.
I have to say, these Blending Brushes are pretty awesome. They work so well. I love them so much, I’ve ordered a second pack of them so I can reserved them for color shades instead of having to thoroughly wash them each time I use them.
If you plan to make your own Valentine’s cards this year, I suggest getting your order in relatively soon. Orders are running a little longer to ship right now, just like with every online company out there.
