At our last Downline Meeting, we made Halloween treats for our local Ronald MacDonald House. I love doing this project for the House guests. It's a little something that we can easily do to help brighten their day. We used the coffin boxes for our treat holders this month. The tops of the boxes were heat embossed with versa mark and a spiderweb pattern. Inside, we added monsters. The monsters are on a piece of window sheet and they pop … [Read more...] about Ronald MacDonald House Treats

Harvest Hellos
Hello Friday! It's been a busy week around here getting ready for a couple more events this month. Today I'm sharing one of the make & takes that I'll have at the Just Crop Retreat tomorrow. This make & take uses the Harvest Hellos stamp set and the brand new Mini Curvy Keepsake box. We had a similar treat box called the Curvy Keepsake a couple years ago and it was super popular. The Mini version is about half the size of the other … [Read more...] about Harvest Hellos
EEEK!
Did you know you can make a countdown calendar for just about anything? Like counting down to a special birthday, or a special occasion, or a holiday, or even the last day of school. I have several different countdown calendars that I've used through the years. One of my favorites is our vacation countdown calendar. The kids loved this one when they were little because they could see that number getting smaller every single day, which meant we … [Read more...] about EEEK!
So Happy
There are so many beautiful new products in the Annual Catalog and I'm trying my best to use them as quickly as possible so you can see just how beautiful these things are. If only I had endless amounts of time to play with all the goodies, then I could share everything with you. Today's project uses one of the polka-dot Kraft Pillow Boxes. These boxes are approximately 5x3". These are a great size for party favors, treats, or small … [Read more...] about So Happy
Father’s Day is Around the Corner
One of my favorite projects to make is treat holders and packaging. There are so many different things that you can make and you can find hundreds of different ideas online. Today’s project is one of my favorites and is so easy to make. This is called a “diaper fold” treat holder. There are four simple steps to make this packaging. Since I do so much better with visual images, I’m including a diagram on how to do the folds.Using the images … [Read more...] about Father’s Day is Around the Corner
More Bunnies
With all the craziness of the last month, I was pretty sure I was not going to have anytime to make some Easter treats this year. Well, I managed to get a few made after all. These were relatively quick to make because I used a previous design and just reworked it to be smaller. This is very similar to the Easter baskets that we made for the Ronald MacDonlad House. You can see those baskets here. The earlier baskets that we made were … [Read more...] about More Bunnies
Downline Gifts
For each OnStage event, I like to give my Downline that attend a little something. The Stampin Up Mini Pizza boxes are perfect for a couple small treats. This time I included a couple Ghiradelli chocolates, and set of page flags, and a mini highlighter for marking their favorites in the new Catalog. The pizza boxes are perfect for decorating. I wrap the paper around the outside of the box without taping it to the box so they can just … [Read more...] about Downline Gifts
A Tisket, A Tasket…
A yellow Easter Basket! At our March Downline meeting, we made Easter treats for our local Ronald MacDonlad House. Poli designed this adorable basket that we filled with treats. The baskets are approximately 4" across the bottom and the handles are a 12" strip of paper to give you an idea of the size. We usually make between 35-40 treats for most of the major Holidays. When it comes to treats for the Ronald MacDonald House, we … [Read more...] about A Tisket, A Tasket…
