One of my favorite projects to make is treat holders and packaging. There are so many different things that you can make and you can find hundreds of different ideas online. Today’s project is one of my favorites and is so easy to make. This is called a “diaper fold” treat holder. There are four simple steps to make this packaging. Since I do so much better with visual images, I’m including a diagram on how to do the folds.Using the images … [Read more...] about Father’s Day is Around the Corner

More Bunnies
With all the craziness of the last month, I was pretty sure I was not going to have anytime to make some Easter treats this year. Well, I managed to get a few made after all. These were relatively quick to make because I used a previous design and just reworked it to be smaller. This is very similar to the Easter baskets that we made for the Ronald MacDonlad House. You can see those baskets here. The earlier baskets that we made were … [Read more...] about More Bunnies
Downline Gifts
For each OnStage event, I like to give my Downline that attend a little something. The Stampin Up Mini Pizza boxes are perfect for a couple small treats. This time I included a couple Ghiradelli chocolates, and set of page flags, and a mini highlighter for marking their favorites in the new Catalog. The pizza boxes are perfect for decorating. I wrap the paper around the outside of the box without taping it to the box so they can just … [Read more...] about Downline Gifts
A Tisket, A Tasket…
A yellow Easter Basket! At our March Downline meeting, we made Easter treats for our local Ronald MacDonlad House. Poli designed this adorable basket that we filled with treats. The baskets are approximately 4" across the bottom and the handles are a 12" strip of paper to give you an idea of the size. We usually make between 35-40 treats for most of the major Holidays. When it comes to treats for the Ronald MacDonald House, we … [Read more...] about A Tisket, A Tasket…
On To Plan C…
I absolutely love it when my plans come together so easily and quickly. It’s just the greatest when you come up with an idea and then you start working on a project and it’s so easy to put together that it’s almost like magic. And then there’s weeks like this one, when everything in your life decides to happen this week. And then you find out that the product you wanted to use in your next make and take is actually on back-order for at least … [Read more...] about On To Plan C…
Top O’ The Mornin To You
We're celebrating St. Patrick's Day a little early since it falls on the weekend. What do you do to celebrate this Holiday? For years, I would make authentic-ish Irish meals, but nobody cared for them. The recipes I found tend to use a lot of cabbage and my family just wasn't a fan. So we won't be having corned beef and cabbage tonight. And I'm trying to do a no-carb thing so green beer is off the menu for me. Oh well, maybe I'll just have to … [Read more...] about Top O’ The Mornin To You
Sweets For You
This Saturday, I'll be at the Just Crop Retreat again with Stampin Up make & takes. The How Sweet It Is Suite of products is so perfect for treat holders. One of my favorite treat holders is our clear 2x2" treat boxes. They look so festive filled with candy. One of my favorite ideas for these boxes is to wrap the pattern paper around the outside. And this rainbow paper is so fun and festive - perfect for party favors. If you are making a bunch … [Read more...] about Sweets For You
A Little More Love
Valentine's Day is this Thursday. Can you believe it's already here? Crazy. Don't worry, you still have time to whip up a bunch of treats for your kiddo to swap at school. Today's treat holder is a mini mailbox, complete with "love you" flag. The flag arm is glued in the up position. I could have used a small brad instead so I can raise and lower the arm, but I went with a glue dot and sequin instead. Check out just how cute this is. It … [Read more...] about A Little More Love
