One of my all time favorite treat holders is this matchbook M&M holder. So simple, yet so cute. You staple the M&M bag inside and then decorate the matchbook. This is what it looks like open. I used the Happy Halloween strip to hide the staple. I had fun decorating the front with the pumpkin jack-o-laterns. The matchbook is so small it doesn't need a lot. What do you do for Halloween? Do you pass out … [Read more...] about Matchbook M&Ms

Treats For You
In the January-April Catalog, there's a great two page spread of different projects using the Country Floral Suite. One of my favorites is the wrapped candy bar. The Catalog shows a full size candy bar. I took the idea and shrank it down to fit a Ghirardelli Chocolate Square. To make this project, you'll start by putting the ribbon on the chocolate. I recommend using a glue dot to hold the ribbon in place. Then you'll wrap your paper … [Read more...] about Treats For You
A Box In A Bag
Last week I shared our adorable Christmas Scottie with our Peekaboo Treat bags. This week, I'm sharing him with a treat bag that you can make in almost any size to suit your needs. My bag below is approximately 3" x 3" tall and 1" across on the bottom. So, what is a box in a bag? This is a gift bag that you make with a box bottom. You can see the bottom below. It has squared off sides just like a box. But the top and sides are rounded like … [Read more...] about A Box In A Bag
Christmas Scottie
Happy Friday! What could be better than a Friday? A Friday with a cute pup! This little dog is the sweetest little guy. He's decked out for the holidays with a fabulous red bow. The Christmas Scottie has three different pups posing in different positions. The coordinating Scottie punch punches out this standing pup. This is one of the Peekaboo Treat Bags. These bags are food safe and the package comes with both white and Kraft colored bags. … [Read more...] about Christmas Scottie
Bewitching Box
If you're like me, you might have taken advantage of one of the Sale-abration items last month, the Kraft Gift Boxes. These boxes were one of the items you could get free with a purchase. Today I used the box to make a Halloween treat. This box is a great size to tuck a nice treat in, like a cookie or a brownie, or small gift. The window in the box gives a nice peak at whatever may be inside. Don't forget to get out those items you … [Read more...] about Bewitching Box
Matchbook Treat
If you're looking for a quick treat holder that you can make lots of in a short amount of time, this is it. The Matchbook treat! This treat looks like an old fashioned matchbook. This is what the matchbook looks like open. You can see the candy is stapled inside. This keeps it from falling out of the matchbook. The dimensions for the black card stock is 2.75 x 7.75". I used an 8.5 x 11" sheet of card stock and cut the 8.5" side down to … [Read more...] about Matchbook Treat
Easing Into Fall
I'm seeing lots of posts about back to school. It's hard to believe that Fall is right around the corner. If I didn't see all the school supplies and pumpkins at the local stores, I don't think I'd believe it since we've been having a heat wave here. Since Fall is almost upon us, I thought I'd start sharing some Fall projects with you. Today's project uses the Ringed With Nature bundle and the free coordinating Rings of Love Sale-a-bration … [Read more...] about Easing Into Fall
Hippest Hippos
So far, one of the most popular items from the Sale-a-bration Catalog seems to be the Hippest Hippos stamp set, and the Hippo Dies appear to be a close second. I've seen so many cards and projects with the Hippos online. So many people have done an amazing job coloring in the hippos with our Blends alcohol markers. I love the fabulous coloring, but speaking from experience, I don't always have time to do that coloring and shading. Taking the easy … [Read more...] about Hippest Hippos
