It's the little village that does it. There's a whole sheet of little village scenes in the patten paper. I love all these little shop buildings. The pattern paper has the shops in handy dandy strips, which allows you to easily cute them apart and use a strip at a time. This Suite was my favorite from the September-December Catalog when it came out. I've had it for weeks and weeks. I really had to hold myself back from breaking out the … [Read more...] about Special Delivery

Jolly Delivery
Sometimes I just want to copy the Stampin Up Catalog. And you know what? That's perfectly acceptable. In fact, that's the reason there is a Catalog with tons of ideas in it. It's so that we have lots of ideas we can easily recreate on our own. This is one of the items in the Catalog. It's a treat box made from the Jolly Delivery Suite. The box is self closing as you can see below. This box is a bit on the smaller side. It does … [Read more...] about Jolly Delivery
First Time Ever
Stampin Up is offering a crafty advent calendar for the very first time. This advent calendar is a 12 day countdown to the Holidays. Every day of this calendar contains brand new dies, paper, embellishments, and more items that you won’t find in any of our catalogs or in our online store. The craft supplies in the calendar are not Holiday themed so you can use them all year long. Do you have a crafty friend or relative? This would make a … [Read more...] about First Time Ever
Instagram Strikes Again
While I was scrolling through Instagram, I saw a party set-up with these mini domed charcuterie trays filled with cheeses and fruit. I used the Humble Home stamp and punch bundle to make a 3D house. To make sure everything stayed in place inside, I cut a piece of vellum and glued both the … [Read more...] about Instagram Strikes Again
Holiday Card
Here we are down to the last few days of the September-December Catalog, and I realized that I hadn't posted the card that I mailed out for the Holidays. I kept it really simple this year. Although after I started making them, I realized that I had to hand-cut the penguins for all the cards. Oh, boy! This is the last weekend to purchase items from the September-December Catalog. Be sure to check out the Last Chance List to get those items … [Read more...] about Holiday Card

Christmas Ornament
For more than ten years, I've been making ornaments for a group of girlfriends. It's become quite the tradition. I gift wrap them and give them out at our Christmas dinner. Here is this year's ornament. I love making these snow globe ornaments because I can add lots of layers and a sprinkling of snow. A few years ago I found the perfect stand to hold all of these handmade ornaments. Here's what they look like all together. After … [Read more...] about Christmas Ornament
Book Boxes
One of the nicest things in the September-December Catalog is the Book Boxes treat boxes. These boxes come plain white and you can decorate them however you like. Here's mine decorated. You can also decorate the inside of the boxes too. The strap n the boxes come with a bit of adhesive on them but I wanted to be able to open and close my box. I added the snow globe on the front with pop dots. The strap then slides under the snow globe … [Read more...] about Book Boxes
