I love creating Holiday home decor pieces. Every year, I get them out and place them around my home, remembering past times creating these goodies. Today's project is a shadowbox frame using that amazing reindeer die from the Reindeer Days Suite. The reindeer die has three different reindeers to cut out to achieve the full reindeer look. I've used this die for several projects and I haven't gotten tired of it yet. The reindeer is just … [Read more...] about All Your Days

It’s the Most Magical Time of the Year
Today I'm sharing a special project for you from a recent class. This is a standing frame with a shaker box on the front of it. The inside of the shaker is decorated with a smiling snowman on a snowy hill. You can see some of the clear shaker beads in the frame. I happen to have four these kits leftover from my class. Joy
On Monday I shared the Christmas Gifting Tag Kit. The kit makes nine tags. But what do you do with the leftovers if you don't use all nine tags? You could save them for next year. But why not go ahead and use them now to make a home decor piece? At OnStage a couple weeks ago, one of the ladies shared a lovely project using this small wreath with the trees and the lights. I asked her where she found the wreath and she was kind enough to tell … [Read more...] about Joy

I wanted to keep this simple so I left the frame the natural wood rather than painting it. I cut my pattern paper to fit the inside of the frame. I do find with inexpensive frames like this, you really want to cut to fit it as they tend not to be a standard measurement. The green pattern … [Read more...] about Merry

It’s Just Like A Crime Scene
But worse! Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit. But this is today's craftermath! It's just like an aftermath, but specifically crafter related. Yes, this is the reality of my desk right now. No judging.. you know you do this too. I spy a some beautiful pattern paper, a project using the pillowbox die, and a fabulous deer punch. All those pretty cards and projects I post start out with a mess that looks pretty similar to this. Maybe not … [Read more...] about It’s Just Like A Crime Scene
