I recently saw online a really creative craft idea to add some colorful decor to your craft studio. The person used paints in her project but I'm going to give it a try using our re-inkers. Any guesses what I'm going to make? This is either going to turn out to be amazing (fingers crossed). Or we shall never speak of this again. Either way, it should be a fun attempt at making something completely different. I'll share my results next week. … [Read more...] about And Now For Something Completely Different…

Tis The Season
I know, I know. I have my Holidays all mixed up. Don't worry, I'm working on getting a better schedule going. But, I really wanted to share this project right away so you would have time to make it prior to the Holidays. I have only five kits left over for this class that I recently held. This kit came with two different background papers. This one shows the red background with the white dots. The remaining five kits have red background … [Read more...] about Tis The Season
Hello!
Happy Monday! I'm back today with another Daffodil Daydream stamp set and the FREE Daffodil Afternoon paper. This project is one of the mini Paper Pumpkin boxes with a decorated cover. The mini Paper Pumpkin boxes are food safe so you can put cookies, brownies, candy, etc inside your box. I made this project really simple so it would be easy to recreate. The front panel is just glued to the lid of the box. The ribbon is wrapped around the … [Read more...] about Hello!
Here Comes Santa
Happy Christmas Eve! Tonight Santa will visit millions of homes all over the world bringing joy to people everywhere. Even though I'm an adult, I still enjoy the magic of the season and Santa. Today's project was made by one of my downline, Lyndi. The tiny frame fits an image about 3" x 3". This is just perfect for the tiny Santa. Lyndi stamped his suit on our white Velvet sheets and his face and beard on our shimmery white paper. I love the … [Read more...] about Here Comes Santa
What Can I do with a Paper Pumpkin kit?
Periodically, people ask me what they should do with Paper Pumpkin kits they don't like. My suggestion is to use all the pieces to make something you love. I actually loved the November Kit, Gifts Galore, but I really wanted to stretch all the pieces. This is what the Kit directions have you make. These treat boxes are just the cutest. The directions have you use two of each snowman, tree, and presents - one on each side of the treat box. I … [Read more...] about What Can I do with a Paper Pumpkin kit?
Blackberry Beauty
Several weeks ago, I found an idea online for a project that looks like a mini hardcover book and inside was a box. I loved the idea of a mini book that was also a gift or treat holder. I can't find the name of the person who first posted it because it was so long ago, but I still wanted to share the project. This is the front cover of the book. I love the owl from the ephemera pack. I don't know why, but it reminds me of Harry Potter. … [Read more...] about Blackberry Beauty
July Sampler – Let Freedom Ring
Independence day has come and gone for another year but I couldn't let July pass without creating a patriotic Sampler for this month. Honestly, this one was a little bit of a struggle. I had a hard time figuring out how I was going to make fireworks because I really wanted fireworks in July's Sampler. I tried a couple different things, but none of them looked quite right. But I think the red and blue sparkles in the top left square are a … [Read more...] about July Sampler – Let Freedom Ring
