Last year, my girlfriends and I decided to start a book club. Actually, it kind of started as a joke. We were talking about doing a monthly wine night and decided to legitimize it by making it a book club. We're almost a year into it and we've really been enjoying it. We do spend quite a bit of the evening discussing the book, what we liked about it and what we didn't. So far, all the books have been enjoyable. It's been a nice change to read … [Read more...] about Every Chapter

Happy Little Bee
For today's card, I used the ladybug punch and turned it into a bumble bee! I think the bee is adorable. To get the two different colors for the bee, I punched it out in both black and yellow. I used the black as my base and cut the yellow pieces to fit on top of the black base. I love when I can get more uses out of a punch that has such a specific use. The Hello Ladybug stamp set and punch are in our January-June Catalog and this one … [Read more...] about Happy Little Bee
This or That?
Last Friday I shared this card using the Hello Ladybug stamp set. This card was made using our Poppy Parade "red", which is more of an orange-y red. I took that card and changed it up a bit using our Real Red color, which is a traditional red. What do you think? Which one do you like better, the orange-y red or the red-red? This or that? Hello Ladybug
Hello Friday! Today I'm sharing the Hello Ladybug bundle. This stamp set has a coordinating ladybug punch that allows you to punch out both the body and the wings for the ladybug. The punch makes it so easy to assemble the ladybug. I've seen lots of ideas online with the ladybug. Someone even used the punch to make a bee instead of a ladybug. I've got more ideas coming soon for this cute critter! Check back next week to see what else I'm … [Read more...] about Hello Ladybug
February Thank You’s
Since I had the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set out awhile back, I decided to go ahead and get my February Thank You cards made. I kept the card simple since I had a few to make. I do love those gold bee trinkets. They are not self adhesive, but a glue dot will hold them in place. I send out thank you cards to all customers who make an online purchase or place an order with me or subscribe to Paper Pumpkin through me. It's not too late to … [Read more...] about February Thank You’s
Happy Easter!
Don't worry, Easter isn't for another few weeks, but it's just the right time to start planning those Easter goodies that you're going to pass out. These easily fit snack size candies. The Easter Friends stamp set has the most adorable little bunny. The … [Read more...] about Happy Easter!
Living Life
Monday I shared a simple card using the Flowing Rain Boots bundle. Today I have a more stepped up version for you. This one uses more ribbon, vellum doilies, and one of those gold bumble bees! I think I need to add more of those gold bumble bees to my stash, just in case Stampin Up decides to retire them this year. They are absolutely perfect for floral and plant cards. Speaking of retiring products.. the next Annual Catalog will start on … [Read more...] about Living Life
Spring Flowers
I know Spring is still a couple weeks off, but I'm looking forward to warmer days. I'm ready to move on from sweater weather. In anticipation of Spring, I got out a new flower stamp set, Flowering Rain Boots. Today's card is a quick one that is easily replicated. I love handmade cards. And I know sometimes people struggle with making cards because they think it's too hard or too complicated. Cardmarking doesn't have to be complicated. … [Read more...] about Spring Flowers
