Twenty-some years ago when I started my first full-time job after college, I met some amazing ladies and made some dear friends. We’ve been through engagements and weddings, starting families and raising children, and so much more. These ladies are so very special to me. For the past several years, I’ve been making handmade ornaments for each of them for the Holidays. Here is this year’s ornament. The ornaments are made from plastic … [Read more...] about Life Long Friends
Can you keep a secret?
So can I! Inside these adorable boxes are some special gifts for special friends. I'll share what's inside in Friday's post. You'll have to check back to see the goodies. And believe me, it will be worth coming back for. We used to sell these Take Out Boxes a couple years ago and I stocked up. They fit small gifts so well and you don't need any adhesive to assemble them. To jazz up these boxes, I just wrapped some of our pattern … [Read more...] about Can you keep a secret?
Treat Time
At our Downline Meeting last Thursday, we made treats for the local Ronald McDonald House. I love that we do this regularly for them. This is a simple way we can support them using our talents. Our treat holders are usually different every month. Poli does the design of the projects and we all get together to make them. She found the idea for these adorable boxes on Pinterest and they were really easy to put together. The reindeer is from the … [Read more...] about Treat Time
Our Downline Holiday Party
Last night was our December Downline meeting. We always have such a great time at our meetings. I really look forward to them each month. OnStage Recap
Last month, I traveled to Salt Lake City for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage Event. OnStage is the new name for our Demonstrator Convention. These events are always so much fun. This time, it was just Lyndi and I going. Unfortunately, Margo had a pup emergency at home and had to cancel at the last minute. We really missed having her along. We usually fly in the day before so we have a chance to get settled before all the craziness starts. And this gives us … [Read more...] about OnStage Recap
