Well, I made it home from OnStage yesterday and I am exhausted. OnStage is the Demonstrator only convention that Stampin Up puts on twice a year. I'll share a recap of our weekend adventure soon but in the meantime, I wanted to share the little gifts I made for my Downline members that attended the event. I stocked up on the Mini Pizza Boxes that were in the Holiday Catalog last Fall. They are the perfect size to include a couple fun … [Read more...] about I Survived OnStage
Today’s The Day…
I am on my way to OnStage in Las Vegas! I am so excited. I cannot wait to see friends from around the Country. I love attending these events with my Downline and this time there are four of us going. At this OnStage, we will get the new Catalog that starts June 1st and we will get a chance to see brand new products being released in the next Catalog. And I hope, we'll even get to take some home as prizes. Any time there is a … [Read more...] about Today’s The Day…
A Rainbow of Brusho
I love it when Stampin Up comes out with a brand new product. There is nothing quite like playing with something new that you've never tried before. One of the preview products that I had for OnStage last Fall was Brusho. When I received it, I had never heard of this product. I had to google it and then I watched a couple videos on how it's used. Apparently Brusho has been around for awhile. Once I started playing around with it, I … [Read more...] about A Rainbow of Brusho
World Autism Awareness Day
Today is World Autism Awareness Day and I've joined up with 50 other Stampin Up Demonstrators from around the world to share this special day. We are going Blue to celebrate people with autism and the people who support and care for them. The statistics on the number of children diagnosed on the autism spectrum every year is staggering, affecting an estimated 1 in 88 births. This means that roughly 1.5 million Americans today have some … [Read more...] about World Autism Awareness Day
We’ll Always Have Paris
Do you remember those days back when you were younger, and you could just decide to take off for the weekend? You'd grab some clothes and throw them in a bag and hit the road. Maybe you had an idea of where you were going to end up. Maybe you were just winging it, figuring you'd stop somewhere that looked interesting. That, my friends, is called being spontaneous. It's funny how life creeps in and a decade (or two) later, you're … [Read more...] about We’ll Always Have Paris
Monarchs Are My Favorite
I love butterflies. Whenever I get a new butterfly stamp, my go-to colors are the colors of the Monarch butterfly. The rich orange and deep black colors are always so striking. Did you know millions of Monarchs from all over the US and Canada migrate to one single location in Mexico every Fall? Some of these butterflies are traveling close to 3000 miles to reach warmer climates for the Winter. This is truly amazing. They look so delicate yet … [Read more...] about Monarchs Are My Favorite
Bunny Box
Here comes Peter Cottontail, hopping down the bunny trail... Easter is on it's way! In case you haven't looked at a calendar recently, Easter is this coming Sunday! It's hard to believe it's already here. For Easter, I love making little treat holders. I try to make a variety that will hold slightly larger treats and some that hold smaller treats. Today, I'm playing around with the Tiny Treat boxes. One trick when making these is to wrap … [Read more...] about Bunny Box
I Volunteer As Tribute
Guess what happens when you're a professional crafter? You end up "volunteering" to make banners for the Soccer Team awards night. At the banquet planning meeting, I must have been distracted by all the talk about the cake when I raised my hand. Turns out I was volunteering to make the banner for the JV team. That's okay, I'm a professional. I got this. In past years, the banner is made with the intent that the girls will remove their … [Read more...] about I Volunteer As Tribute
