It's finally Friday. Hooray, we made it! What better way to celebrate making it through another week than with ice cream. I don't know about you, but this week has been worthy of a triple scoop for me. I'm back today with another Ice Cream Corner Suite project. This has been such a fun Suite to work with. The ice cream punch makes this so easy to create projects. For today's ice creams, I punched the scoops from the pattern paper and then … [Read more...] about Treat Yourself!

Perpetual Birthday Calendar
Facebook is so handy with those birthday reminders, but it always reminds you the day of the birthday. I wish they'd remind me a week ahead of time so I have time to actually put a card in the mail. Sure, you could go through your calendar every year and write in all those birthdays every single year. But, honestly, that seems like a lot of work year after year. A perpetual calendar is a way to track special events from year to year. My … [Read more...] about Perpetual Birthday Calendar
Mickey Ice Creams Are My Favorite
I love Disneyland and I'm lucky to live close to it. One of my favorite treats is the Mickey Bar ice creams. The vanilla ice cream is so yummy and the chocolate coating is not overly sweet. It's the perfect treat on a hot day. Our Ice Cream Corner Suite in the January-June Catalog is perfect to make your own Mickey bars at home. The Suite includes an ice cream punch to make scoops of ice cream and a cone. If you turn the scoop punch upside … [Read more...] about Mickey Ice Creams Are My Favorite
OnTour Is Today
I am so excited that Stampin Up's Spring "convention" is tonight. Since Covid last year, our events have all been virtual. Meeting virtual has its pluses and minuses. We don't have to travel or take time off work, and I can relax in my own living room while "attending". And, my assistant Frannie can attend too until she gets distracted by something else. On the down side, I don't get to see friends in person and I miss traveling. For the … [Read more...] about OnTour Is Today

Pink Hydrangeas
Happy Friday! This past Wednesday, I shared a beautiful card using the Hydrangea Hill Suite of products. You can see that card here. I really liked the design of the card, but wanted to do a different version. Using one of the pattern papers as inspiration, I recreated the card in pinks. I also changed it from a vertical card to a horizontal card. In purple or pink, I think these hydrangeas are so pretty. Do you ever copy your own … [Read more...] about Pink Hydrangeas
Amazing Things
The Hydrangea Hill Suite is pretty amazing. The combination of the pattern paper, stamp set, dies, and embellishments all work together so amazingly well. Today's card has lots of layers and lots of die cutting. To make the flower on the card, I stated with stamping the outline. Then stamped the leaves and flower shading. Then the small die cut flowers are glued to the center of the flower. You can see just a hint of the Mercury Glass … [Read more...] about Amazing Things
