My assistant, Frannie, and I are busy working on some new goodies today. Just in case you haven't met Frannie... this is her all decked out in her Holiday finest: She is quite the dog! She works very hard helping me come up with all these fabulous blog posts. Although I have found that if I turn my back on her she can also be quite the slacker. Apparently any time is nap time. As they say, you get what you pay for. I guess … [Read more...] about Cheap Help is Good To Find

The very next week, I was at a large retail establishment, when I turned a corner and saw this: Yep, you guessed it: black … [Read more...] about I’m Dreaming Of A Black Christmas

Ta-Da!
Here's the finished card. The cardstock is Naturals White. I misted the entire background, and the two Newsprint flags. I die cut another piece of the Naturals white the Apothecary Accents die. Then stamped the sentiment "Life is a Daring Adventure" in Gumball Green. In real life, the diecut piece really stands out from the misted background. Postage Due
Found this card idea online, too. I believe on Stampin Up's Pinterest page. This was one of those sets in the catalog that I had to have. I had no idea how I was going to use it, but I know I NEEDED it. I hope I'm not the only one who does this. I stamped the main image in versamark on Naturals white cardstock and heat embossed with White embossing powder. Paired it with Pacific Point and Summer Starfruit. It's tough to see the white … [Read more...] about Postage Due
It’s Raining Men, Oops, I mean Flowers :)
I've been spending way too much timne on Pinterest. Yikes! Even my family can tell the glazed over look and ask, "are you pinning?". I was looking for some new ideas and found one almost identical to this one. I think the only difference is the patterned paper and the flower itself. I bought the new DSP Comfort Cafe when I got my new catalog and haven't had a chance to use it yet. And then I needed a flower to coordinate. I got … [Read more...] about It’s Raining Men, Oops, I mean Flowers :)
