Ever make a card, look at it, and think, this isn't even worthy of the trashcan? I have. Well, this one isn't quite NOT worthy of the trashcan, but it's no winner, that's for sure! Sometimes, I have this image in my mind of what I think I want to use and the colors and embellishments, but they don't always translate to paper. Do you ever have this feeling? Thinking that everything you create should be a masterpiece? But, it … [Read more...] about It’s a Reject

Holiday Mini
Since I'm a Demonstrator, I get my copy of the Holiday Mini before my customers. (Yay!) And mine came last week - yippee!!! Want a sneak peak? Well, here you go! Yep, that's the corner of it peaking out from behind my July Stampin Success. Ha-ha-ha! You didn't really think I was going to show you the whole Mini, did you? I wish I could, but I actually can't post pictures of it yet. Don't worry, I will as soon as I can. And … [Read more...] about Holiday Mini
Fabric
I love that our fabric is the same pattern as our Designer Series Paper. Such fun patterns and prints. At our last downline meeting, Shannon gave each of us these tissue holders. Aren't they cute! Love this. Happy Stampin! Check out my Store, open 24/7: http://www.dianebrowning.stampinup.net. … [Read more...] about Fabric
My Mantle
Each Season, I redecorate our Mantle. It may seem like a lot of work, but it's really not. Over time, I've made the pennant banners using (at the time) current Stampin Up papers and supplies. Most of these products have now retired but you could easily re-create them using current products. This is the Spring Mantle. Each year it might vary slightly depending on what I decide to include or if I find something new I can't resist. I … [Read more...] about My Mantle
As promised…
Here is the finished card! What do you think? Our swaps are always based on the current contest listed in our Demonstrator Magazine, Stampin Success. This month's theme is "abc" alphabets. I used some of the new In Colors, Midnight Muse as the card base and Summer Starfruit for the flower. I used the large circular stamp in Betsy's Blossoms to stamp tone-on-tone Summer Starfruit for the large flower, and in Pool Party … [Read more...] about As promised…
New Supplies
I *LOVE* when a new Catalog comes out. It means breand new supplies. What could be better than fun new stuff? It makes me so happy to have new paper and ink. Well, I'm getting ready for my Downline Meeting and I've been busy stampin away. I haven't quite figured out what I'm going to do with all the pieces, but I know it'll come together. I'm more of a experimental stamper. I keep experimenting with my goodies until I come … [Read more...] about New Supplies
Have Your Cake
And Eat it Too! One of the benefits of being a Stampin Up demonstrator, is being with other demonstrators! My Downline Group gets together once a month to swap cards, do a make & take, and talk about current/upcoming Stampin Up business. Remember, what's current for a demonstrator is actually upcoming for customers. We get the benefit of buying products and getting access to specials before the general public. And we get … [Read more...] about Have Your Cake
Have a Cuppa…
This card uses the Tea Shoppe stamp set from the Occassions Mini, and YAY, it made it in the new 2012-13 Catalog. Yes, the card uses a couple retired items (pins and flowers) from the Occassions Mini, but that's ok. The hat pins really work with the tea set. The tea bag makes the card smell pretty good too - love Tazo's Berryblossom. I used the En Francais background stamp but didn't stamp it perfectly even. I wanted it slightly faded … [Read more...] about Have a Cuppa…
