Sometimes when I'm working on a card, I can't make a decision on how I want it to look. For this card, I really wanted to use the new gilded flakes product. To adhere the gilded flakes, I used my adhesive sheet on top of the card stock, then die cut out the word "just", peel up the adhesive backing, and add the gilded flakes. I used a sponge to brush off the excess flakes and this is how it looked. Then I thought, maybe the gold is too much. … [Read more...] about This or That?

Fine Art Floral Suite
Stampin Up does a great job with floral stamps. Every time they come out with another one, I tell myself I don't need another floral stamp set. And then somehow, someway it makes its way into my cart anyway. I can't explain... it just mysteriously happens. :) One of the prettiest floral sets in the January to June Catalog is the Fine Art Floral Suite. This Suite has everything... stamps, dies, pattern paper, acetate sheets, sparkly ribbon, and … [Read more...] about Fine Art Floral Suite
Hydrangea Hill
I'm doing my best to use all the goodies I purchased from the January-June Catalog. And one I haven't spent a lot of time on is the Hydrangea Hill Suite. Oh my goodness, the pattern paper is just gorgeous in this Suite. Plus, look at how well the flower stamps. It's designed to give all the beautiful shading to the flower without a lot of work. The matching die set includes dies to cut out all the individual petals if you want to make your … [Read more...] about Hydrangea Hill

Hello, Love
Today's card is super simple, but sometimes, that's just what you need when you're in a hurry. And I wanted to keep the focus on that cute paper and the tiny matching resin hearts. I'm still loving this tiny envelope die from the Snail Mail Suite. And those itty bitty pink hearts in the paper are just the cutest. Even though Valentine's Day has passed, you can still send a little love in the mail. With people still in quarantine, it's a … [Read more...] about Hello, Love
You’ve Got Mail
One of my favorite dies from the January-June Mini Catalog is this adorable mini envelope. The envelope is approximately 1.5 x 1" to give you an idea of the size. This envelope die is part of the Snailed It Bundle. Today's card is another slimline card. This card is 3.5"x8.5", which allows plenty of space for all those little envelopes. And if you haven't noticed the pattern in the pattern paper yet, all those mini squares are postage stamp … [Read more...] about You’ve Got Mail
A Little Something…
I wanted to design a quick treat holder that would be inexpensive to make. I came up with this small chocolate "book". This is super easy to make and costs very little in supplies. Start with a piece of card stock that is 4.25" x 3.5". Score it down the center on the 4.25" side. Cut a piece of pattern paper to 3.5" by 1 7/8th". Glue down with tape runner. The ribbon wraps around the outside of the "book". Stamp your heart on a piece of white … [Read more...] about A Little Something…
Hey, Birthday Chick
When the January-June Catalog was released, there was a small delay in the arrival of the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set for an awesome reason. Guess what? Stampin Up released dies to coordinate with the stamp set. How cool is that! You know me, I love matching die sets. It makes creating with the stamp set so much easier. Not only that, but the die sets usually come with some fun extras like the streamers I used below. I don't usually … [Read more...] about Hey, Birthday Chick
