Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing products from the January to June Stampin’ Up! Catalog. The Dandy Garden Suite is one of the first items I purchased from the January to June Catalog. I love the itty bitty dragonfly punch in this set and could see lots of potential for it. I knew it … [Read more...] about New at SU-Dandy Garden Suite

March Sampler-So Lucky
It's finally Friday - yay! Today I'm sharing my March Sampler kit. I'm so excited about this one. It turned out so cute! March is, of course, St. Patrick's themed... lucky horseshoe, clover leaves, pot of gold, and a bright happy rainbow. All the pieces in the kit are already die cut for you, which makes this so easy for you to assemble. Several people have asked what I do with the samplers. I use them as home decor pieces in my home. I … [Read more...] about March Sampler-So Lucky
Butterfly Bouquet Part 2
I love the products in the new Butterfly Bouquet Suite and couldn't wait to use them. My first project is a home decor piece. This is a 2x4" block of wood that's about 12" long. I actually got it at a local store and then painted it white. I used the Blushing Bride metallic ribbon with a bit of the vanilla lace trim tucked just under the edge. Then I added a strip of the Natural Wood paper. This paper looks just like real wood, but it is … [Read more...] about Butterfly Bouquet Part 2
Snow Day Sampler
We don't get too many "snow days" here in SoCal (thank goodness), but I still love the beautiful Winter scenes that you see in pictures. Those beautiful snow covered trees and mountains are so pretty. And, I've always wanted to live somewhere you could build a snow man in your front yard. Well, not enough to actually move to the snow. But it sure sounds like it would be fun. Plus the joy of "snow days"... no school, no work. We don't get that … [Read more...] about Snow Day Sampler
A Rainbow of Trees
Every Christmas, I make a new home decor piece to add to my Holiday decorations. Usually, my Christmas decor is very traditional. But last year, I saw the large white wood trees and inspiration struck. I painted this set of rainbow trees with the help of my amazingly talented friend Annette. This year, I added a set of hand-painted rainbow houses to match my trees. The trees came in a plain silver metallic color. I lucked out that Annette … [Read more...] about A Rainbow of Trees
And Now for Something Completely Different
If you're like me, you might have a couple craft projects lying around. You finish up your project, but then you end up with leftovers. What do you do with the leftovers? Are you a saver? Or do you just toss/give to someone else? The ultimate conundrum: this is still perfectly good, but what am I going to do with leftover bits? A couple years ago, my crafty friends introduced me to the world of diamond appliqué. If you're not familiar with … [Read more...] about And Now for Something Completely Different
Crafts and Plants
Most of what I share here is stamping or paper crafts related, but I do love making home decor items as well. I've been in the process of revamping my backyard space and realized I needed some kind of wall hanging to cover up a screw that was already in place. Honestly, it didn't occur to me to make something until I was roaming the aisles of a home store and couldn't find just the right thing. As I was staring at all the stuff, I realized I … [Read more...] about Crafts and Plants
