If you've been around the card making world lately, you might have noticed a new style of card, called the Slimline Card. This card is unique in it's shape, which is 3.5" x 8.5". It's a long, slim card. This shape of card raises some interesting design challenges. Everything needs to be under a certain height, if you're making a horizontal card. Or it needs to be under a certain width, if you're making a vertical card. It can be a challenge … [Read more...] about Joy To The World
Why, yes. Yes, they do. Just picture all those little guys in Antartica with nothing else to do. Of course, they are going to get out their snowboards and whiz across those glaciers. It is a secret though. So, you won't ever get to see them do it. When the photographers are visiting, they tend to just stand around in groups. But once the photographers leave, they break out the snowboards and have some fun. There they are...just sailing … [Read more...] about Do Penguins Snowboard?
Today I'm sharing my second version of the August Customer Thank You card that I sent out. I hope they didn't mind that it was Halloween themed again. I just love this bat pattern paper from the Magic In The Night paper pack. I think this is the first time I used the Hallows Night stamp set too. I've used the dies a few times, but not that giant label, which I love. And I love that it comes in two sizes, which makes it perfect for layering. … [Read more...] about Second Round of August Customer Thanks

The cost of the kit is $15, plus shipping. The stand can also be purchased for $3. Contact me to get your kit shipped to … [Read more...] about Boo!
I'm doing better this month... since my August Customer Thank You cards are in the mail. Hooray! Today's card is mostly black and white with a touch of Terracotta Tile. I love the deep, deep orange color for Halloween. I used the stamp set Festive Post for this card. The images in this stamp set are designed to fit inside the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch. I love that this makes it easy to add small images to the card. As we race closer … [Read more...] about August Customer Thank You’s
I had so many compliments on my Fall Gold sampler, that I've turned it in a Class To Go. The kit comes with full instructions, all the pieces pre-cut, and ready to go. Each of the supplies for the four squares are packed in individual bags to keep it all organized. The kit itself is $15, and the stand is $3. The stand comes in natural wood tones. I used a basic white acrylic paint to paint mine white. I can ship the kit to you. Postage is … [Read more...] about New Class To Go: Fall Gold
Sometimes you need a quick card for a friend just to let them know you're thinking of them. I love the bright pink colors of this card. It's perfect for a girlfriend. Nothing says Fall like some pretty plaid colors. I think this is one of the few times that I've used almost an entire pack of pattern paper. In fact, I've used so much of the pack of paper, I have almost nothing left to use in the Holiday colors. I better order more … [Read more...] about Pretty Plaid
It's time to start ordering your Halloween craft supplies, if you haven't already. I love making small candy holders to share with family and friends. Our small 3x3" envelopes are the perfect size for the individual M&M packs of candy. I realize 3x3" cards are tough because they are too small to mail in the United States. And, it's such a small size to work with. However, they make an excellent treat holder if you need something relatively … [Read more...] about Boo!
