We are down to the last week of the January to June Catalog. I can't believe we're at the end already! There are so many great things on the retiring list. You can see the list here: Everything on the list is while supplies last. So, once it sells out, it is gone. Also, the brand new bundles in this catalog will all be retiring as well. The stamp sets and dies/punches may carry forward in the Annual Catalog, but they will no longer … [Read more...] about One Week Left…

Tulip Wreath
A few weeks ago when I was working on some other projects using the Tulips Suite, I die cut a bunch of the tulip flowers in different colors. I also cut out the windmill with the plans to use them on a card. Well, it turned out everything together was way too big for a card. So everything sat on my desk in a little pile until I figured out what to make with it. One of my local stores sells these 6" plain wreaths that you can decorate. I hot … [Read more...] about Tulip Wreath
Flowing Flowers
Before I share today's project, just a reminder that TODAY is the last day of the 2021-22 Annual Catalog. This really is the last chance to get those products that are retiring from the Catalog. Now on to today's project... A quick thank you card using the Flowing Flowers stamp set. This is a quick card that you can easily make several of in a short amount of time. The large flower is stamped in navy on the navy card stock to add some … [Read more...] about Flowing Flowers
A Double Fan Fun Fold Card
Just try to say that five times fast! It's quite the mouthful. I think that's what this technique is called. I found a pattern for this unique fun fold online and created my own card using the Flowering Fields Suite. This is one gorgeous card. It is so unique that it stands on its own, and all the different folds with the different patterns are just beautiful. The pattern online made a larger size card, almost 7" tall. It wouldn't fit in one … [Read more...] about A Double Fan Fun Fold Card
Tall Flowers
Oh my goodness, I think this one is my favorite card so far with the Flowering Fields Suite. Slim line cards are so popular right now, but sometimes they can be tough to create if your stamp isn't big enough. I knew the actual stamp for the field wasn't going to be long enough so I had to adjust my design a bit for this card. First I cut my white card stock length based on how long I thought it should be. I started with the yellow flowers in … [Read more...] about Tall Flowers
Flowering Fields
I'm back this week with more projects using the Flowering Fields Suite. This time I'm using the Tulip Fields stamp set. This one takes a bit of practice to get the field stamped right. The horizontal yellow flowers are all one stamp. I recommend using the Stamparatus with this stamp to be sure you have it straight. Then the triangle fields are added in. I recommend starting on the outside, next to the yellow flowers and then work your way in to … [Read more...] about Flowering Fields

Every Chapter
Last year, my girlfriends and I decided to start a book club. Actually, it kind of started as a joke. We were talking about doing a monthly wine night and decided to legitimize it by making it a book club. We're almost a year into it and we've really been enjoying it. We do spend quite a bit of the evening discussing the book, what we liked about it and what we didn't. So far, all the books have been enjoyable. It's been a nice change to read … [Read more...] about Every Chapter
