Frosted Floral
One of my favorite Suites from the upcoming Holiday Catalog is Frosted Floral. I love the soft, muted look of the flowers and the shimmery pattern paper is to die for. The color combinations in the paper are truly beautiful. I think this is my new favorite color combination: Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, and Mint Macaron. The large flower in the center is inked in Blushing Bride and then I dabbed on a bit of Blackberry Bliss in the … [Read more...] about Frosted Floral
No Tricks Here
The saga of the broken washer continues… it’s still not working. I have one more avenue to try for repairing it on my own. Someone messaged me that I’m nuts for trying this on my own. But, the washer is about 15 years old and if it needs any kind of repair that’s more than a hundred dollars, it’s frankly not worth investing it in a 15+ year old machine. And, I figure I certainly can’t make it any worse. It already doesn’t work. :) On to today’s … [Read more...] about No Tricks Here
Thank You For 2017
Happy 2018! It's a brand new year, full of opportunities and possibilities. But before we move on the new stuff, let's have one last share from the Holiday catalog. This is the thank you card I will be sending out to all my customers that made purchases in December. I love the metallic foil patterns in the Year of Cheer pattern paper. It reminds me of Holiday Parties, toasts to a good year, and fire works. You have until tomorrow to get … [Read more...] about Thank You For 2017
Life Long Friends

For the past several years, I’ve been making handmade ornaments for each of them for the Holidays. Here is this year’s ornament. The ornaments are made from plastic … [Read more...] about Life Long Friends
Can you keep a secret?
So can I! Inside these adorable boxes are some special gifts for special friends. I'll share what's inside in Friday's post. You'll have to check back to see the goodies. And believe me, it will be worth coming back for. We used to sell these Take Out Boxes a couple years ago and I stocked up. They fit small gifts so well and you don't need any adhesive to assemble them. To jazz up these boxes, I just wrapped some of our pattern … [Read more...] about Can you keep a secret?
Our Downline Holiday Party
Last night was our December Downline meeting. We always have such a great time at our meetings. I really look forward to them each month. I wanted to give them each something special to show my appreciation for them. I gave each one a Stampin Up Clear Block engraved with their name. They turned out amazing. I should have taken pictures of the blocks before I wrapped them. Their blocks all say "Hand made by" with their name. This is … [Read more...] about Our Downline Holiday Party
Tis the Season…
To Be Merry! The month is almost half over and we are less than two weeks until Christmas. Yikes! Time to get those gifts made. Or started if you haven't done that yet. :) Today I'm sharing the Be Merry Kit from the Holiday Catalog. This kit includes all the supplies you need to make twelve ornaments. I do recommend a hot glue gun for assembly of the ornaments. And you'll want a fine-tip glue pen to glue the "merry" to the wood … [Read more...] about Tis the Season…
