Once again, it’s my favorite time of the month… when I mail out my Customer Thank You cards to everyone that made a purchase the month prior. I love being able to tell my customers how much I appreciate them. This month I used the Harvest Hellos stamp set and used the apple to make caramel apples. To make these apples, stamp the apple stamp on your red card stock and punch it out. Then punch out a second apple in Mango Melody. I used a sponge to … [Read more...] about September Customer Thank You’s

It’s Finally Fall
It's still hot in SoCal, but we're starting to see cooler evenings, which is the true start of Fall here. Although, the weather still can be a bit unpredictable now. It's mostly high 80's during the day, but there is a definite chill in the night air. Our Fall pattern paper, Come To Gather has some unexpected Fall colors mixed in. One of the prettier papers in the pack is this lovely Pear Pizzazz pumpkin patterns. Green pumpkins are … [Read more...] about It’s Finally Fall
Creepin It Real
A few weeks ago, one of Stampin Up's artists posted a similar card to this one I'm sharing today. Melody has such a fun, creative style - it's no wonder she's a professional artist. I took her idea with the sweet monster hiding behind a wall and made my own card. This little guy is actually quite short. I stretched him out to better fit my card. To do this, I covered the bottom half of the stamp with a post-it and inked only the top and … [Read more...] about Creepin It Real
Ghoulish Gate Fold
Before I share today's project, I just want to remind you that today is the last day of the Stampin Up pattern paper sale! Now for today's project... Today's card is a gate fold card design. This is what the card looks like closed. Then you open both sides at the middle. Notice that the label and frame are centered over the middle of the card above. But, when you open the card, you see that it's attached on just the one side. To make sure my … [Read more...] about Ghoulish Gate Fold
Only Eight More Months…
Til the end of the school year! Is it wrong to be counting down already? Don't get me wrong, I love the structure of the school year. But, the go-go-go schedule leaves me completely exhausted. I feel like I need a ribbon that says "I survived the first month of school's parent meetings, open house, team meetings, and the first fundraising for the year." Hmmm... that's a lot for one ribbon. I gotta give credit to those who do this year … [Read more...] about Only Eight More Months…
Wicked!
As we rapidly approach the Holidays, I'm trying to use as many of the items I ordered from the Holiday catalog as quickly as I can so you can see a variety of products. There are so many great Halloween products, but I generally don't send Halloween cards. However, I knew I needed this "wicked" die cut for future scrapbooking purposes. My colorful background was made using the new Pigment Sprinkles. The new Sprinkles come in our Stampin Up … [Read more...] about Wicked!
Boo!
Technically, we are still another week out from the first day of Fall. But, the stores have had Halloween stuff on their shelves for a few weeks now. So, I feel pretty good that I've held off this long sharing more Halloween projects. The stamp set Boo To You contains several delightfully spooky creatures. This little werewolf guy just can't wait to scare you!I colored him using the Stampin Blends markers. I love the depth of color that you get … [Read more...] about Boo!
Wild Roses
That statement that you can learn something new everyday is true. I recently made a bunch of note cards for a family member to use and I used the stamp set To a Wild Rose. That got me thinking… what is a wild rose? Or is that just something they used to name the stamp set? Did you know there is actually class of roses called wild roses? Who knew? Wild roses differ from garden roses as they tend to be a tougher, low-maintenance plant adaptable to … [Read more...] about Wild Roses
