The Share What You Love pattern paper is amazing! It has these amazing floral images and bright colors. And the paper is thick like card stock. Today's card is one of the Make & Takes that we made at OnStage in April. It was super quick and easy to put together and it looks fabulous. When making cards, you don't have to make it super complicated. You can get fabulous results with quick and simple stamping with a bit of layering. Don't be … [Read more...] about Those Florals!

Got Swaps?
Today is Day Two of OnStage. I can’t share any sneak peeks of upcoming products yet, so instead I’ll share one of the swaps that I took with me. Swaps are a huge part of OnStage. It’s one of my favorite ways that we share ideas with each other. The idea is that you make a bunch of cards then you trade them for cards made by other Demonstrators. It’s sort of like exchanging business cards, but instead you exchange a real card. It’s kind of funny … [Read more...] about Got Swaps?

I Promise It’s Coffee… Maybe
If you've been to a Boutique lately, you may have noticed that a really popular item is these small plaques with witty or funny sayings on them. Most of them are painted, but I thought it would be fun to make one with our paper and stamps and dies. I chose my ever faithful Coffee Cafe set and dies to make my plaque. I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of this stamp set, that is for sure! Every time I put it away, I just have to … [Read more...] about I Promise It’s Coffee… Maybe
Happily Ever After
This past weekend, I attended a wedding for a co-worker and I think this is the first wedding I have been to in about 10 years. It's funny how the cycle of life happens. When you're younger, you go to lots of weddings. As you get older, you transition into baby showers, and then first birthday parties. Eventually school graduations... kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, High School, and then College. And I hear the cycle starts over … [Read more...] about Happily Ever After
Best Laid Plans…
So I honestly had planned to get a bunch of birthday cards made this weekend. Guess how many I made? One. Yep, just one. Sometimes, that's just the way it works out. Time, or better said the lack of time, plays a big part in this. And it's crazy because school hasn't started and soccer season hasn't kicked into high gear yet. Where did this weekend go? I managed to get a couple things made this weekend, but my favorite is the … [Read more...] about Best Laid Plans…
Flower Shop Birthday
One card I'm always in need of is birthday cards. I try to keep a couple on hand, but I'm usually scrambling to get them done at the last minute. I promised I would spend a little time this week getting several done. The Flower Shop stamp set has been around a few years, and it's still a favorite. I love that there is a coordinating punch for the flower too. It makes it so much easier to make quick cards. For this card, I offset the … [Read more...] about Flower Shop Birthday
