Did you know tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day? I used to be a 12x12 scrapbooker. Then a number of years ago, I switched to the pocket pages. They are amazing for getting your pages done quickly. I used to be one of those that wanted to create amazing artwork. Now I love having completed albums. This is page I made recently for a 6x8 page in a pocket album. Even though it's not the large 12x12 format, I can still use my creativity to … [Read more...] about National Scrapbook Day

The Miniest of Mini Scrapbooks
On Monday, I promised to share the mini album that I made from the Suitcase Treat Box. This is what the outside of the box looks like decorated. This is what it looks like when you open the suitcase. It was really easy to add some card stock to the inside and create a fold-out album. I used two strips of pink card stock and glued them end to end to make one long strip. The top of the strip is glued to the inside of the lid. The … [Read more...] about The Miniest of Mini Scrapbooks
My Bags Are Packed
Do you remember this little suitcase treat box I shared a couple weeks ago? After I decorated the outside, I left it sitting on my desk. I was kind of wondering what to do with it once I shared the photos. I wasn't quite ready to part with it and I didn't want to just toss it into my box of samples. Then it hit me, this might be a great mini scrapbook album. There's got to be a way I can add something to the inside and add some … [Read more...] about My Bags Are Packed

Do You Scrapbook?
Just a word of warning... this is the craftermath of me trying to scrapbook some pictures. Images are messier then they appear on the screen. This is a mini album I'm working on of a trip to Seattle my daughter and I took last Spring. It was a four day trip so not a ton of photos, but I definitely want to remember the memories. I am absolutely loving having "adult" children. It's such a different relationship and I feel like I can also be a … [Read more...] about Do You Scrapbook?
Make Your Own Mini Album
I've had a number of messages about how I made the Mini Album I shared a few weeks ago. This type of chipboard mini album is actually pretty easy to put together. Once you've figured out the mechanics of one album, you can make this in any size and shape you want. For this album, I used two 6x6" chipboard pieces and a 1x6" chipboard piece for the center spine. You'll need four pieces of card stock cut to 6x6" and one piece cut to 2x6". The … [Read more...] about Make Your Own Mini Album
