If you've been to a Boutique lately, you may have noticed that a really popular item is these small plaques with witty or funny sayings on them. Most of them are painted, but I thought it would be fun to make one with our paper and stamps and dies. I chose my ever faithful Coffee Cafe set and dies to make my plaque. I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of this stamp set, that is for sure! Every time I put it away, I just have to … [Read more...] about I Promise It’s Coffee… Maybe
Fifteen
It hardly seems possible that this little peanut turns 15 today. Where has the time gone? She was a handful from Day 1. Actually more like four months prior to showing up. Being on bed rest for months was tough, but she was so worth it. (Coming home from the Hospital, 2002)She was an adorable toddler and she's always had tons of personality. Despite the calm image in this picture, most days she was definitely more tinkerbell than princess. (Our … [Read more...] about Fifteen
Halloween Treats
Halloween is tomorrow! Have you already eaten all the candy you were going to pass out? You still have 24 hours to get to the store to stock up and once again promise yourself that you will not eat this bag of candy. At our October Demonstrator Meeting, we worked on treats for our local Ronald McDonald House. We try to do this for all the big holidays. If we can’t squeeze it into our Demonstrator Meeting, we try to arrange … [Read more...] about Halloween Treats
Five Minute Friday – September Thanks
So I’m a little behind getting out my thank you cards to customers that made a purchase in September. But, better late than never! Actually, I did mail them earlier this week. I wanted to give them a chance to arrive before I posted the card here. These cards are very quick to make, especially if you already die cut a bunch of these leaves and haven’t used them on other projects yet. The Jute twine is wrapped around the Crumb Cake … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – September Thanks
No Peeking!
This past Saturday, I worked the Just Crop Retreat again. I love going to this event and sharing crafty goodness with them. I try to keep my Make & Takes fairly simple so they have a good stamping experience. Today I'm sharing my second Make & Take that I offered. Our Clear Tiny Treat boxes are the perfect treat holder to give to a friend or relative. You can fill them with candy or cash or any other small gift. I used the Merry … [Read more...] about No Peeking!
A Little Jar of Christmas
In Southern California, we don't get much in the way of snowy Christmases. It is 94' on Sunday as I write this and we are almost to the end of October. Don't worry though... tomorrow it's going to be 101'. Yay. I found these adorable jars at a local store and they had a hardware kit to add a post to the top of the jar so you could add a picture or card. Our Memories & More Christmas set was the perfect size to top these jars. We … [Read more...] about A Little Jar of Christmas
Five Minute Friday – Smitten
Tomorrow I'll be working at the Just Crop Retreat in Fullerton again. I can't wait to see all the ladies again. I enjoy spending the day with them and helping them with any stamping or crafting questions they might have. This card is going to be one of my Make & Take projects at the retreat. This is a quick and easy card that you could replicate for your own Christmas cards. The watercolor wash in the background is so easy to do … [Read more...] about Five Minute Friday – Smitten
The Little Barn Boutique
This past Sunday, I had a table at the Little Barn Boutique. I love doing these kinds of events because it allows me to show off all the wonderful things you can make with Stampin up products. Here are some closer shots of the items in my booth. So many cute things!I love how the table turned out this time. I splurged and bought matching wire baskets for this show. I think it really made a difference, everything coordinated … [Read more...] about The Little Barn Boutique
