Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing gift card and gift certificate holders.
I used the Winter Owl stamp set for my card today. For my gift card holder, I made a z-fold card. With a z-fold, the front panel is folded in half so when standing the card looks like a backwards Z. I’ve seen these made with a full panel on the front like I have here and smaller panels as well so you can see the paper on the inside of the card peeking out.
When you open the card, it looks like this. I have the matching paper on the inside as well.
Then when you fold the front flap open, you see the spot for the gift card. I put the pattern paper on the back of my front panel too so it would match the rest of the inside of the card. The front panel is held on using our Tear & Tape across the top and bottom and the far side. This leaves the left side open with a pocket.
Then I added the tree branch and owl to the small middle panel to carry the theme throughout.
I hope you enjoyed today’s project. If you have any questions about how to put this together, just let me know. You can click the link below and it will take you through your Hop today. As you go through the New at SU Hop, be sure to leave comments on each page in the Hop letting us know what you liked.

You chose my favourite stamp set, Diane! It made such a great gift card holder. Owls deliver messages and parcels don’t they? Well, in the Harry Potter books they do.
